Crescent Processing - Perry K. Panovec, lied about account billing, cancellation fees and because I needed two machines I am charged two account fees. Alabama
*UPDATE Employee: Read what you sign or don't sign!
I was doing credit card business with another company when I was contacted by Crescent Processing telling me they could save me money.
Being a small business I need to save where I can and I trusted Perry Panovec when he explained to me where I could save on card transactions. No cancellation fee, cancel anytime. What a liar. Crescent Processing would not take my word for the lies told to me and would do nothing with this salesman.
I needed two machines and here comes another lie. I am paying two monthly fees for everything because they would not combine the statements, which means two de-conversion fees at $495.00 each.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Read what you sign or don't sign!

It's a shame that some reps don't work as expected (if that's the case!)
However it's the merchant's responsability to review, research and read everything you signed up for.
You should NEVER SIGN ANYTHING UNLESS you get a copy of what you signed.
With that said: it's not only the sales rep fault that you got into something you did not want, if you were told that there was no cancellation fee you should have asked "where in the contract is that stated" - You should never signed anything unless you review it first or at least get a copy of what you sign - Yes you can cancel anytime "as long as you pay a $300-$495 cancelation fee" once again "had you read the terms an conditions" you would've known!
Everytime a sale is made "we" do a confirmation call and that's another chance you have to confirm that you're getting what you asked for. If no confirmation call was made more power to you.
Hope this helps: If you had a previous processing company that charges you "an excessive cancellation fee "and" CPC refuses to refund you that cancellation fee" then you can cancel crescent without paying the De-conversion fee, however there will be a $85.00 restocking fee.
