Crestmark Roofing Gary Yates David Yates Reneged on their 5 year warranty Douglasville GA

Roof was done in 2-2019. After only 1 year the roof developed a leak. I was given a 5 year warranty but they refused to fully repair the damage. I told them to come out and inspect it back in Feb 2020. They never came out and finally I had to call again and they came out in May 2020. At that time they said there was no holes or cracks, yet my tenant said he kept hearing water dripping onto his bedroom ceiling as he slept. A photo was taken at that time showing a bulge developing in the ceiling.

My tenant called me again in early July and said the water dripping was continuing and sent another photo. A day after that photo was taken the ceiling partially fell in the bedroom. I had Crestmark come back out and they went up on the roof and said they did see a crack/hole and sent me a photo of 3 holes/ crack at the end of a shingle that was set in a valley of the roof. They then tried to tell me that someone shot a bullet through the roof, and they found a bullet (they claimed) , laying on TOP of the roof. And because of that reason, refused to fix the damage to the ceiling inside the house, even though it was covered by the Warranty.

I said to the owner, Gary Yates , "If a bullet was shot through the roof, wouldnt the bullet be INSIDE the attic ? " I also asked why there was 3 holes if it was one bullet. I also asked how could that occur unless someone climbed the roof and shot down into the house, even though the alleged bullet didnt even pierce the plywood under the shingles. At that he got belligerent and hung up on me.
