While Utilizing the Services of Cristle Ramey Independent Nail Technician, and owner of Cristle Nails Independent Contractor. She became verbally abusive and hostile on November 30, 2019 at A Harmony Nail Spa using defamatory hate speech against two of our transgendered patrons/workers while in the capacity as a nail technician licensed by the state board of cosmetology of nevada License #n-45356.

She acted in a hostile manner not conducive nor reflective of the values upheld by the state board for this position or for any contractor to be engaged in. She made patrons feel extremely uncomfortable. Then tried to lie about the details of what happened to cause harm to the business/individuals involved.

She Called the Transgendered Owner of the Establishment a "Gender Confused Stupid B*tch" and insulted two LGBTQ workers on staff. She made fraudulent claims against the establishment in an effort to extort money. Please be aware of this contractor and thier discrimination against LGBTQ people. We do not reccomend her services to anyone. This was abusive, violent and harmful. This was all captured on Video/Audio and Witnesses have made statements to coroborate.





This Contractor further harrassed the Owners and workers through text messages and whatsap which were all saved for evidence. Beware of using her persoanl services and or as an independant contractor. This Contractor refused to take responsibility to fix errors in her work on nails causing a loss of hundreds of dollars and instead blamed the clients for ruining thier own nails, no offer was made to replace the defective workmanship.

Dear Reader, all of these claims are unsubstantiated. It was unfortunate that Ms. Ramey's behavior upon seperation from Harmony was innapropriate, unprofessional and without provocation. Upon review of the original complaint, it was my intent to share my experience as a Transgender business owner who was the victim of verbal assault, attack and ongoing defamation to my chararacter. 

I always have done my best to be professional, kind, and courteous to all my staff and clients. I live by the golden rule Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I do not believe in an eye for an eye. But many people do. 

I love all people, and have worked hard to end discriminaiton and prejiduce of all people. My longtime partner/finance is African American, I have a deep respect of all people, cultures and nationalities. 

Being in interracial relationships since I was 14, I have experieced much prejiduce and ridicule, yet I continued to Love who God put in my life. My boyfriend of three years died at 19- we were attacked by knifepoint on sunset boulevard and survived. He later passed away from a terminal illness. I recently made a special tribute to him online to honor his life and our love. 

My Godmother and spiritual mentor is African American, I would never do or say anything racially offensive or otherwise, as I respect the differences of others. 

Being Transgendered I have also been the victim of hate crimes, prejiduce, discrimination and physical violence. I have worked long and hard in the field of 12 step recovery 22+ years and through the 12 steps forgiven those who have harmed me. Being a survivor of abuse I am keenly aware of the emotions of others, and am sensitive to all forms of violence, I have empathy for anyone/group who has been affected by violence and prejiduce as this deeply affects me and is a cause close to my heart-that I hope to see ended in this lifetime. 

As far as my business In 2022 I and a staff member was the victim of a vicious hate crime and attemtped extorsion. The proper authorities were notified and video and audio evidence provideed disproving false allegations against one of my Black Staff members by a white customer. I believe there was racial motivation against this staff member. Due to high standards of security client forms, intake and video/audio evidence the whole matter was put to rest. It was later found out the client offered drugs to an employee and the client was under the influence and had a history of extorsion. 

Harmony requires background checks, metro scope reports and verifies all applicants. We have had a mix of hourly and commission technicians over the years. Upon hiring hourly employees fill out a w-2 and contractors an agreement and 1099. which clearly outlines the differences. Contractors come and go as they please, make thier own schedules, and recieve commission and tips. There is a contract and Salon and Spa policy and rules for Renters and Commission Contractors. 

I wish Ms. Ramey the best of luck in her life and career. Our reputation preceeds us. As far as my reputation I let my good work and deeds speak for themselves, a lifetime of loving others, doing the right thing cannot be undone in an online posting. 

As a spiritual business owner of deep faith. I forgive Ms. Ramey and release her to her best and Highest good. I bless this situation and Asks for Gods healing Balm to interevene. I send this situatiaion back to the nothingness from which it came. And so it is. Amen.

Cease Harassment and Addressing False Claims

 Rebuttal to Defamatory Statements by Ms. Paula Sadler of A Harmony Nail Spa

 

This response addresses the continued defamatory and baseless allegations made by Ms. Paula Sadler of A Harmony Nail Spa. Ms. Sadler’s statements not only misrepresent the facts but perpetuate a pattern of harassment and falsehoods that are both unlawful and damaging to Ms. Ramey’s reputation.

 

Final Commission Dispute and Nevada Labor Commission Findings

 

Contrary to Ms. Sadler’s false claim of a $34.40 dispute, the Nevada Labor Commission investigated and determined that Ms. Ramey was unlawfully owed $271 in commissions. These wages were withheld by Ms. Sadler in violation of Nevada labor laws.

 

Additionally, the Commission found that Ms. Sadler improperly treated Ms. Ramey as an employee while falsely classifying her as an independent contractor. This misconduct highlights a blatant disregard for labor laws and further undermines Ms. Sadler’s credibility.

 

Improper Classification and Violation of Nevada Law

 

Under NRS 608.0155, independent contractors must operate free from the control and direction of the employer. Ms. Sadler’s own statements expose her unlawful treatment of Ms. Ramey by:

•Requiring Ms. Ramey to meet sales quotas and work as part of a “team,”

•Directly controlling the conditions of her work, and

•“Firing” Ms. Ramey, which is legally applicable only to employees.

 

These actions clearly violate Nevada’s labor laws and demonstrate Ms. Sadler’s pattern of exploitative and unlawful business practices.

 

Defamatory Claims and Harassment

 

Ms. Sadler’s accusations of harassment and racism against Ms. Ramey are categorically false, defamatory, and unsupported by any evidence. The WhatsApp messages referenced in Ms. Ramey’s rebuttal clearly illustrate that Ms. Sadler engaged in harassment and retaliation.

 

It is important to note that the only redactions made to these messages were Ms. Ramey’s Social Security number and sensitive employment documents, which Ms. Sadler requested during the hiring process. Shortly after providing this information, Ms. Ramey discovered that her Social Security number was being illegally used to open credit cards and purchase a vehicle. While no direct accusations are being made, it is suspiciously convenient that this misuse occurred during the period Ms. Sadler had access to Ms. Ramey’s private information.

 

Ms. Sadler’s Credibility and Reputation

 

While Ms. Sadler claims to have a “stellar reputation,” public records and recent legal actions contradict this assertion. Notably, a lawsuit has been filed against Ms. Sadler and one of her workers for alleged sexual harassment at A Harmony Nail Spa by two former female employees. This lawsuit raises serious concerns about the workplace culture Ms. Sadler fosters and her credibility as a business owner. I would encourage you to review this lawsuit which reflects similar treatment of staff that was endured by Ms. Ramey.

 

Furthermore, Ms. Sadler’s alleged criminal history found in public records cast significant doubt on her claims of integrity and professionalism.

 

Demand to Cease and Desist

 

This correspondence serves as formal notice to Ms. Sadler to immediately cease all defamatory statements, harassment, and false accusations against Ms. Ramey. These actions are unlawful and have caused significant harm to Ms. Ramey’s reputation.

 

Conclusion

 

The evidence, including findings from the Nevada Labor Commission, the pattern of harassment detailed in this response, and Ms. Sadler’s alleged criminal and legal history, unequivocally demonstrate her misconduct and ongoing harassment.

 

This is a final demand for Ms. Sadler to immediately discontinue her obsessive, defamatory and unlawful behavior which continues 5 years later to this day.

A report was originally made by Paula Sadler of A Harmony Nail Spa to warn prospective Employers and the public of this Contractor. 

All claims by this contractor are not true. Original Whats app harassing messages were shared that Ms. Ramey tried to delete. Unfortunately her actions were out of retaliation for being fired and un-rehirable. 

There was a dispute filed as to final commissions for $34.40 which were paid as of 11/30/2019

She was trespassed from the location due to her harassment of LGBTQ employees and patrons this was witnessed by customers, staff and the owner. 

A Harmony Nail Spa holds the safety of the customers and employees and/or contractors in the highest of regard and does not tolerate any harassment and/or racism. 

The owner being Transgender and Native American understands racism and discrimination and actively works to support inclusivity-and has often been the target of harassment. 

If you read the rebuttal by Ms. Ramey you will see that the company was engaging with sharing of sales goals and if the company met its budget or not, all standard for retail businesses where teams are involved to make sales quotas. 

Technicians are independant as they submit their own schedule,provide thier own tools and have full control over the work they do. They may take time off as they please. They also must provide a license to work, insurance, if they choose they can rent tools and purchase products to use from the salon which is standard. 

We wish Ms Ramey the best of luck in her endevors. Although we cannot recommend this technician and they are ineligible for re-hire. 

We invite any customer or guest to visit our location and discover the peace and healing of Harmony and meet with the owner Paula Sadler who has compassion, integrity, and is an honest hard working small business owner. Judge for yourself. Her 30 plus years of cultivating carreers, community engagement and character stand on its own.

Racist owner of A Harmony Nail Spa, President of Commercial Centre District World Village , President of CCBA, Holistic Healer and Author, Paula Sadler engage in hate speech and obsessively seeks revenge by posting malicious, defamatory posts, stalk and harass former employee after losing Labor wage claim. It’s been almost 4 years since Paula Sadler fired a former part time employee after the former employee spoke up about being repeatedly, harassed by Sadler.

Sadler abused her position as employer to aggressively, persistently harass the former part time employee multiply times per day at all hours of the day and night including midnight. The former part time employee who worked for Sadler’s salon on the weekends, and described Sadler’s actions as unbearable, intrusive, inconsiderate and unreasonable, kindly asked Sadler to limit communication to emails, appointment notifications and on duty hours.

Sadler repeatedly ignored her requests. Sadler also repeatedly did not pay her employees their wages and instead used wages to pay her business and personal expenses forcing the employe to file a complaint with the labor commission for unpaid wages. After firing the employee, Sadler refused to pay wages owed to her. The former employee, who Sadler tried to pass off as an Independent Contractor for tax purposes, filed with the Labor Commission stating that Paula Sadler, owner of A Harmony Nail Spa and President of Commercial Centre District World Village, hired her and treated her as an employee and misclassified her as an Independent Contractor by making her sign an 1099 to avoid tax liability.

when Sadler was asked by the investigator to provide the documents completed during hire, Sadler hide the files and accused the employee of stealing the files to hide the fact that she had in fact hired an employee, this is a scheme Sadler has been practicing for the past 20 years with several other employees.

After a lengthy investigation the Labor Commission agreed with the former employee and Paula Sadler was ordered to pay the $271 in wages due. Sadler threatened the former employee stating that "she wasn’t done with her” and she should watch her back because Sadler will make her regret it”. Sadler’s obsession with the former employee continued for 2 years , Sadler cyber stalked her social media, called her blocked, and made a number of libelous, defamatory malicious online postings accusing the former employee of hate speech, violence toward her and her lgbtq staff stealing, sexual harassment, discrimination, fraud, extortion and the list goes on, in an vindictive effort to tarnish the former employee’s good name and character and hide her on going scheme.

Sadler also commissioned her employees and friends to do the same. Sadler even resorted to illegally sharing confidential information provided during hire online, to intentionally jeopardize the safety of the former employee. Sadler engaged in hate speech when she stated to the former employee "you have a typical "n****r attitude! Get your black a** of my property before I call the police and make you a statistic like George Floyd ” In reference to the recent police killings of blacks and African Americans.

There were several witnesses present and audio of that day, as Sadler chased behind the former employee who earlier got the ok from Sadler’s staff to pass and collect her outstanding wages, things got heated when instead of paying the full outstanding wages Sadler became aggressive and began attacking the former employee after Sadler paid significantly less, threw the payment at the former employee’s face and started verbally attacking her, including chasing the employee down the street and to her car as she tried to walk away.

Sadler’s harassment lead to the former employee changing her number. Sadler is a sadistic, unfair, arrogant, ignorant, abusive, vindictive, unethical, unprofessional, deplorable, Ill mannered, haughty, racist, discriminatory, slanderous, "diversity quota”employer, that refuse to take accountability for her actions and will stop at nothing to have her own way! The most disgusting and sad revelation comes from the fact that Sadler would disrespect the LGBTQ community , her friends, her employees and herself by stating that the former employee filed the wage claim because of her gender identity rather than accept accountability for Sadler’s unconscionable, unethical actions!

SHAME ON YOU and those who enable you in your behavior. DO NOT WORK FOR AHARMONY NAIL SPA! HER Employment ADS ARE A SCAM! Her reviews are FAKE! Sadler forces members of her community and employees to leave reviews! All the bad reviews are true, accurate and not bought or coerced reviews. Sadler even has a no refund on gel services waiver due to the high volume of requests for refunds on her services.

She blamed the client, the nail techs but the TRUTH is Sadler’s polishes are old! They separate, clump and are poor quality. Getting services at those high prices are a RIPOFF and the location is a dump! Sadler claims she just completed a $30,000 remodel! Yet Sadler had 1 friend doing the entire remodel by herself! The salon chairs that everyone complains are so uncomfortable is because they are old, recycled, office chairs that are covered with fabric! Her pedicure basins are stainless steel kitchen sinks! So the question is what did Sadler actually do with the gofund me money for the remodel!

Sadler has had similar issues with several other employees, and customers even harassing a customer by texting in the same manner as the former employee also chasing the customer down the street, Sadler’s salon also has an extremely high turn over. She then blames the employees/ "Independent Contractor” stating they weren’t good workers when Sadler is in fact the problem! The quality of the work speaks for itself!
