Dear Sir or Ma'am

                I am writing to you to tell my story of being victimized by a property management company that preys on the underprivileged, and further victimized by the courts who I believe were in fact willing accomplices. Everything I am about to tell you is documented and verifiable.

                In a VERY basic nutshell, a residential property management company (Croix Management) made false claims of repairs they did not make, damages that they did not (and could not) incur, on a property they did not own and that was in foreclosure. They not only illegally kept our deposit without merit, they placed a false debt on our credit for $3456.33 we absolutely did not owe them, and that they knew we did not owe. We were unable to get a home or car loan with this on our credit. We sued them in conciliation court, they counterclaimed, and through a forged invoice and perjury  managed to obtain an initial judgment in conciliation court. We fought this by removing to district court, and their claims were eventually dismissed with prejudice. They cost us over $5,500 in legal fees to fight them, and three years of my time. These costs have damaged me and my family dearly in more ways than I can relay. The cost, just in dollar amount alone, was greater than they were seeking in fraudulent damages. I also have reason to suspect, and I believe strong evidence to support, DIRECT COLLUSION between Croix Management and both the Washington County and Chisago County courts.
