CRST expedited I signed a contract with Crst in Ca. they paid the school, i went with 1st trainer for one week it did not work out, then they gave me second one ,I completed my 28 days of training i drove about 14 thousand miles on my own, and end up at Cedar Rapid to give a driving test, they fail me i failed in there eyes,so they gave me a bus ticket home to CA. now after 6 months they want me to pay theme 3,900 they said i breech the contract, they breech the contract they send me home. any body can help or give me any idea, i be grateful thank you. I saw your posting and I very familiar with this company.  My husband is a trainer.  I would suggest you look over the contract and see what it isays.  Did you already have you cdl?  If so then I do not see how you can be in breech.  You did not walk away they choose to let you go if I understood your post.  I think you should contact legal aid also for some advice.  CRST  has  serious problem I believe.  I have to tell you 4 weeks  going out with a trainer is not enough time.  That is why they have a high incedent rate.  

well if you were sent home by this company then either you were fired or you quit.

if you were fired then you should have some kind of documentation showing that you no longer work for them anymore.

And the bus ticket is not enough documrntation to show termination of employment.

if they just sent you home then they owe you for all the time you were not working plus mileage and for the bus ride that more than likely was taken out of your pay that's if you got paid and any other bounces like sick leave, vacation, etc.

these run by night companies these days are all the same they use you till they can't use you anymore then find away to fire you for any reason they see fit.

now if you were just a poor driver and just could not handle the job then it's not there fault everybody can't be a truck driver it takes a special kind of person for that job.

reason why i can say that is i had 30 yeare of trucking and been through a few of thoes companies myself and still remember the days when my fuel card was shut off so i could not get fuel so they could keep me on the road and have to spend two days in a truckstop until they found me some freight to move and most of the time it was further away from home so i could not take some time off and have to drive 12 to 14 hours so i could be on time.

well maybe you need to get some legal advice and  see what they say.

like i said these over night companies do this all the time and the system let them get away with it all the time.

oh next time do a little research on the company before you sign the dotted line it will save you alot of stress time and money.
