CSN Stores which uses many names online (go to csnstores.com for an extensive list) uses misleading advertising practices.

CSN misleads consumers into believing they are getting "free shipping" on products when really they have simply inflated the price of the product not only to cover shipping but in most instances costs more than what you would pay including shipping elsewhere. They also claim they will beat a competitors price on a product. All you have to do is send them the link that show the lower price and they will beat it (of course the competitors price has to include shipping). I did this and their response was that they "couldn't confirm the lower price." The only way they couldn't have confirmed it is if they didn't look. I found at least 3 places including a local store that sell it for considerably less before shipping and still less with shipping.

Call me unreasonable, but if a company is offering "free shipping" wouldn't that mean they are selling you the item for the price of the item, less shipping and then they are paying for the shipping. That is how I understand "free shipping." Generally when a company offers a promotion like this, it is reflected on the invoice. The shipping cost is added in and then subtracted. So why then if I can purchase the item at several different stores for between $436-$499, does it cost $629 through CSN? Because the consumer is paying for the shipping. That doesn't sound like "free shipping" to me and that is misleading advertising.

My advice is to search around for whatever it is you are looking to purchase before you purchase from CSN stores and avoid them if possible.

What is your point?!

I'm not seeing what your complaint is. It sounds like you just don't like their prices. That hardly constitutes a ripoff. You found the item for cheaper somewhere else, so buy it from there. Don't go online and squak nonsensically about a percveived inconvenience. That's the problem with websites like this, it lets anybody with a half baked theory of "misleading advertising" spout at the mouth without any editorial control what so ever. They are a company who gets to price there wares at whatever price they want, it is up to you as the consumer to either accept that price or reject that price. If enough people reject their price, they will drop their price. Welcome to capitalism!

Free means Free to me (0$ extra)

I'm not sure exactly what experience this person has buying online, but I must say I buy things online all the time and to me free shipping means the company will not be adding\charging any extra Shipping or Handling charges\fees to the Advertised Selling price of the product.  To me, this store is one of the more legit as they tell you the whole price up front.  I have bought several items from this Online store over the last year and their pricing which includes FREE Shipping (0$ extra added to the price of the product) is GREAT!  I only wish more online stores already included the shipping\handling charges into the price of the product like they do.  Some stores tell you item price is $x to let you think you are getting something cheap... only to tack on extra hidden shipping, handling and misc. fees at the very end of the checkout.  I was also able to avoid paying Sales tax with this store since they are only an online store.  Their coupon codes also work off their TOTAL advertised free shipping price unlike other online stores.
