I received a check in the mail for 3,950.00 drawn on 1st National Bank of Hughes Spring, the letter stated that 300.00 of these funds were mine as my 1st week of training and the rest I was supposed to send 3,350.00 by Money Gram to a Gina Thompson in Brooklyn, New York and use 106.00 to shop at Wal-Mart, Sears, JC Penny and a few other places and what ever I purchased was mine to keep and after completing these tasks I was to call with the Receipt number and fax receipt from my shopping with the 106.00.
Before I deposited this check I called the bank it was drawn on and was told this was not one if their checks and it was a scam. I called the contact person a Peter Newman that was with CSS and he was also the person I was suppopsed call with the info from the Money Gram. He stated that the check was good and I should not have problem with it. I told him I sent the Check to 1st National Bank of Hughes Springs and they will be looking further into the matter. I am sure I will not be heariing from him again.

That you were going to report them to the Bank.
That just gives them time too get out of Dodge.
Nice work looking into the check though before cashing it. I wish more ppl would do this, there would be less ppl scammed.
