Curtis O. Barnes, Professional Corporation Barnes Law Group I was told "It dosen't take a rocket scientist to figure this out". I could not get any address, or someone else to talk to when I asked to. They did not know the person who identified himself only Anaheim, California

  On 4/30/12 I was called by "Barnes Law"  and a "Charlie" left a message on my voicemail about collection of a debt information. He gave no last name, and when I called Barnes Law back on 5/1/12, they denied knowing any "Charlie" who could of called.

They refused to tell me who did call, and what it was regarding.  I asked if the person I was speaking to was an attorney, and he would not verify the information.  This man did tell me about the reason for the Barnes Law call was to collect a debt from me for an account that had been opened in 1984. 

I asked who he supposedly got my "debt" information from, and he did not tell me even then.  he said "this was recently turned over to "us" , and you were sent a letter that was returned to us from the address we sent it too, on April 17, 2012.

He kept saying I needed to calm down, or that he'd go ahead and just put my case into a court, and that I could stand before a judge in California.  (I live in Florida). I demanded the address, phone number of the collection agency.  He would not give it, but said only "Galaxy Enterprizes".  He said they are on the internet. 

The Barnes male represenative said "Look, it dosen't take a rocket scientist to figure this out Ms. Burtnett". 

I then told this representative that, in fact, this was not nearly the 1st time a "harrassing" call had been placed to me in regards to this information....and that I demanded some form of written information in regards to the details of the supposed "debt", and an in writing identification of proof they these calls were coming from a legitimate source.

 The last time a call was received by me from in regards to this same thing was in March 2012. By a "Capital Management". Apparently it was information that the collection ageny still had at that time. (2010). When I made an attempt to get their location and name then (2012) they wouldn't tell me that!!!!

I demanded, once again something in writing to let me know this was legitimate, not a lie, or scam...and, no I never received any kind of information from any collection agency, who told me I'd get the information soon, after getting my correct adress. A similar call was placed to me back in February of 2009, in Louisville, CO. I could not, once again, get any information from the "agency" about the actual facts in written form. They never even presented an address I could reach them at.

Today, I am giving out this complaint to say the information "Barnes Law" told me today is false.  I was told that "Galaxy Enterprizes" is who called Barnes Law a couple of weeks ago. I did call Galaxy Enterprizes after I looked them up online, and they said they sent all their information to a "Capital Management Collection Agency". Ok. So, why then did Barnes Law give me "Galaxy Enterprizes" name? Not Capital Management? 

Also, another big question is this....why on earth did Barnes Law send a letter to my address from 10 years aggo, when my curent address information was given to them as late as March of 2012??? The other big error that does not add up here is the fact that "Barnes Law" said they had informed me a "couple of weeks ago" 4/17/12, at an address for me that I actually lived at .....ten years ago. 

This address thing does not make any sense, as Capital Management  was given my right address when I was called by them this last time.  My father was given their name as he spoke to theis management firm. He did give them the right address here, and said in fact, that I have lived here since August 2009!

This is the 5th call I have received in regards to this thing...and, was told "It dosen't take a rocket scientist to figure this out".  I left this at the "Barnes Law" that I would not speak to them at all anymore, at least not until I got some form of official information in regards to this.  I never got anything in writng from the Law firm, or anyone else, although requested several times. 

I see this "Barnes Law" as harrassing, threatening, and a place of definate lying in regards to where and when they get collection debt referral informations at.
