Dan Culhane hires independant contractors thru Panther Exp to drive his vans. I drove for a short time for him,and due to medical condition had to quit. He was very angry that I quit and blamed me with verbal abuse for the money he lost due to the van not having a driver. He will not pay me the money I earned while driving his van. He continues to email me with verbal abusive emails when all I do is ask for my pay.He is a very angry business man who must have financial problems.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Absolutely false claims.

AUTHOR: Dan Culhane - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 14, 2016

I was just made aware of he report above and it is absolutely false. I can tell you that it was generated by a woman named Beverly Netchta. Fair warning to potential employers. STAY AWAY from her.

She approched me for an independent contractor position I was trying to fill. She told me up front that she had a very bad job history (multiple short term jobs) but her life situation had improved and she was ready for seriuous, long term commitment. She also told me that she had to use a CPAP machine. When I expressed concern that the machine might require more support than I could guarranty her, she assured me that it was no big deal. Said she could manage.

She seemed very anxious for me to accept her and seemed in need so I took a chance on her. What a mistake. She immediately started demanding that I pay her money that was not due to here yet. She kept telling me she had bills to pay and it was my fault she couldn’t pay them. How did I become responsible for her obligations after knowing her for two weeks?

There was also a security deposit issue. By contract, there is a 45 day hold after seperation on security deposits (for obvious reasons). She badgered the hell out of me to return it immediately.

I payed her every cent she had coming, and when it was due. By the way, I have been in my business since 1983. This is the first ever a complaint was lodged against me. And it is totally without merit. Contrary to her claims, I am far from being in any financial trouble.

I payed for her training, physical and drug screen. Less than two weeks later she quit, claiming that the CPAP issue was suddenly critical to her and she needed to quit immediately. Fine. Not that big a deal to me. Lots of people need work. What did turn out to be a big deal were her constant phone calls, emails and threats to sue me over money she did not even have coming to her yet. I did pay her every penny she had coming, minus reimbursement for training that she was responsible under contract if leaving her position in less than 180 days.

Anyone considering partnering with me can talk to any of my contractors they care to.
