A few years ago (I just recently found this website) he rented my house in Scottsdale. He was continually late paying rent and ended up skipping out on the last few months (Took a while to get him out of the place). He hired an unlicensed contractor to do some shotty work on my home then charged me for it. The contractor threatened to file a lien on my property if I didn't pay.
After he skipped out I discovered the contractor wasn't licensed and couldn't file a lien. Dan Frey had claimed they were licensed under their "general". Anyway, I'd avoid renting to this guy or doing any kind of business with him. He's basically a crook who subsequently taunted me when I called him on it.
