This is a sophisticated scam that is luring in buyers with purported inexpensive RV’s or cars. They advertise a vehicle for sale and if you show interest, a person (Margaret Dunlap in this case) will send further detailed information with photographs via email and inform you that eBay will follow-up with instructions. You receive a genuine looking "email” from eBay regarding delivery of vehicle, buyer protection and payment details. To pay for the vehicle, the seller wants you to purchase eBay gift cards from a participating store such as CVS. This is a scam. eBay confirms this as a continuing problem.
