*General Comment: Daniel Hoeg arrest report - drug dealer or burglar?
Be careful, Hoeg is a known fraudster that holds himself out as an attorney and an american industrialist, which he is neither. If he was he wouldn't have had to have a court appointed attorney to represent him in his felony arrest. Here's his mugshot and felony arrest record: http://jail.com/arrest-records/daniel-hoeg-7607824 Moreover, he files Ripp Off reports under assumed names.

AUTHOR: - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, November 24, 2015
Daniel Edward Hoeg. permanent address (((REDACTED))) (resided in Broward County for 312 Months, or 15 Years). Officer Mittauer Badge Number 9911 arrested Hoeg for prowling in the dark at 11PM on 4 May 2014 behind Marshall's store at 801 S UNIVERSITY D, in Ft. Lauderdale, and for felony possession of 90 XANAX. CIS# 221400497, BCCN# 837810, Broward County FL Criminal Case # 14006304CF10A. Get docket and docs at http://www.clerk-17th-flcourts.org/Web2.
Affidavit contains this:
"On 050514 at 2332 hrs, while on patrol in my marked police unit, I observed a red 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck (FL Tag# AWF X24) parked to the rear of Marshall's Dept Store in the Fountains (801 S University Dr #200) The Dodge was facing southbound without any exterior lights on and parked in a very dark ar;ea to the rear (west side) of Marshall's which is a closed business As I drove closer to the Dodge, I could see a male (wearing dark clothing) duck down to the rear of the Dodge in an attempt to conceal himself. I shined my spot light at the Dodge and the male, (a black male later identified by NY DL as Mr Daniel Edward Hoeg) walked from the rear of the Dodge toward the front driver's door, where I made contact with him.
"Immediately upon seemg the Dodge truck and the actrons of Hoeg, I was concerned for the safety of businesses and per:sons m the area as there has been a recent business burglary, involving a truck, to the Spnnt cellphone store (801 S University Dr PPD case# 1404-000810) and an armed robbery involving a knife (801 S University Dr - PPD case# 1404-001285) .Both incidents were in close walking distance (less than 200 yards) of where Hoeg was parked
"As I approached Hoeg, he told me that he was checking out his truck tires because they were making a "whoosing'" noise and he thought that the tires may be out of balance. He said that he was coming from the 6900 block of Cypress Rd, Plantation but could not xplain why he was rn the Fountains and garked to the rear of closed businesses, in the dark, with all of the truck lights off Hoeg said that he lived in America and was free to drive where ever he wanted to. I could s'ee a knife clipped to the inside of Hoeg's left front pocket, whrch I retrieved.
"I explained my concern for the safety of businesses and persons in the area and read Hoeg his Miranda warnings from a prepared card in front of Ofc C Smith. Hoeg agreed to speak to me without an attorney present. Hoeg again said that he was checking his tires but could not explain why he decided to check his tires in a dark area to the rear of closed businesses. He said that he was not a mechanic and also could not explain how he was going to determine if the tires were out of balance and if they were - how he was going to fix the unbalanced tire problem. It should also be noted that Hoeg was not in posession of a flashhght as he was attempting to assess the tire problem in the dark.
"Based on the totatality of the circumstances and that Hoeg could not dispel my alarm for the immediate concern for the safety of property and persons in the area, Hoeg was placed under arrest for loitering and prowling.
"lncident to arrest, while, searchmg Hoeg, a small aluminum Altoids can was found in Hoeg's right front pocket that contained several small prescription pills (yellow rectangle pills w/ R039 on one side, pink round pills w/ "cor over 135", blue round pills with "R" on One side & "031" on the other side and white round pills with a "G" on one side and "L over 10" on the other side). I asked Hoeg what the pills were and he mumbled Adderall, aprazolam and a third name that started with a "Z". He said that he had prescriptions for all of the pills but could not explai why the pills were mixed together, out of the prescription bottle(s) and in an Altoid can in his pocket. I asked him to repeat what he said and he said that he was going to exercise his rrght to remain silent.
"While inventorying Hoeg's Dodge truck incident to arrest, I found a second Altoids can in the front center console armrest area that contained several more yellow rectangle pills, pink round pills and a 1/2 white round pill. An adderall prescription bottle (with Hoeg's name on 1t) was found in a black duffle bag. An alprazolam pill bottle was found in the front pocket of a black North Face backpack This bottle was labled alprazola but 1t did not have f:foeg's name, the
prescrbing doctor's name, the prescription date or exp1rat1on date on the bottle."Hoeg was transported to the PPD for processing
"Ofc C Smith called Poison Control and spoke to operator #68721 The pills were determined to be
yellow rectangle pilIs - 2 mg Xanax (alprozolam) Schedule IV
blue round pills - 4 mg Xanax - Schedule IV
pink round pills - 5 mg Adderall - Schedule II
white round pills - Allegra"Hoeg as also charged with possession of a controlled substance (Xan ax 2 mg and 1 mg) without a prescnpt1on. The total amount of yellow 2mg Xanax pills was 90 5 (23 in front pocket Alto1ds can, 36 5 in console Alto1ds can, and 31 in unmarked Alprazolam bottle. The total amount o blue 1 mg Xanax pills was 13 (13 in front pocket Alto1ds can). All 90 5 Xanax pills were placed into PPD property as tnal evidence.
"Hoeg was transported to the BSO main jail for booking."
It seems strange that Hoeg carries a New York driver license, but claims to have lived in Broward County for 15 years.
