Daniels furniture Store ripped- off my 75 year old mother with their poor customer services.


She purchased a dinnette set and told them it would have to be delivered they told her it was $100 delivery fee. Which she had to accept since she had no other choice. Then she purchased a living room set and figured it could be delivered with the dinnette for no extra charge. WRONG! Even though it was going to the same place they charged her an extra $50 and on top of that they taxed her delivery too.  I had never heard of taxing on deliveries. But that was the first thing.


Then comes delivery time.  The dinnette came in a box, and there was an extra charge to assemble it, go figure.  The livingroom set was very hard to get through the door but their delivery men FORCED it through, and in the process damaged the sofa.It was all scratched up and it even had a tear,   I complained about the damage and they said that if she did not want this one they could take it back and exchange it, but she would have to pay another $100 dellivery fee to get her exchange.  At this time I was Furious.  To have to pay again to exchange something their delivery guys damaged!!!!


The guys told Mom that they would have to pay for the sofa if she didn't take it. Which I find hard to believe because if they did, they would have been very cautious bringing it in.  Nevertheless they took it outside and patched it up and painted it.


I got on the phone with the manager and told him about the incident, and he said he would take it back and get an exchange but that she would have to pay again to get it delivered. I, in anger told him off. told him he was a son of a B---h, that only wanted to get over on the elderly, and that everyone I knew was going to hear about this, and it was going to be posted in rip-off report and I hung up. 


I wanted the guys to take everything back so that we could get Mom's money back.  But Mom fearing that they would keep most of the money she paid for the furniture plus all of the delivery charge, opted to keep the furniture.  The patch job was acceptable to her plus she did not want to deal with them again.  I told her she better never shop there again.


Now Im following through with my promise to let the world know what kind of company Daniels Furniture is all about.

they didn't even want to give her a discount on the damaged sofa.  My poor Mom, I bet she's not the only old woman they take advantage of.
