Data Line Credit Corporation, Barry L. & Betty Williams AKA Norm Rogers knowingly reported false information to credit reporting agencies, threatened to ruin me and my wifes credit, and told my wife to watch her back and proceeded to state our home address. Ripoff Huntington Beach California

Here how the story goes. About Two yeary ago I did a loan for my father. During the loan process I found out that he had a collection account against him from a Dr. Richard Reed of Huntington Beach for an outstanding balance of $10.00 dollars USD of course. At that time my dad could not recall ever seeing a Dr. Richard Reed, however he decided to pay the item off directly to the doctors office as it was only $10.00 dollars which was in 2002.

Next in 2005 when I was refinancing my father again, the collection came up and once again we paid it off. However this time we paid the amount directly to the collection company Data Line Credit Corporation, and the check was cut and sent by the escrow office. Finally, we have a paper trail!

Then in February I decide to buy out my fathers lease for his Lexus. When I did this the auto dealership had my father co-sign my purchase because they were giving us a deal by selling the car to us. That is all good however when I did this it attached my fathers credit file to my own due to the joint filing.

In April I decided to run my credit to purchase a home. When I did this there was only one deragotory item on my credit report the collection account reported in 02/2005 for $10.00 dollard from Data Line Credit Corporation. I immediatley dispute the item and the credit company finds in favor of the credit company. Along with that it was my responsibility to have Data Line Corporation remove the collection account.

When I call Data Line Corporaton I get The same thing that every one else gets a rude man that goes by Norm Rogers who proceeded to tell me and my wife over the course of 6 calls because he kept hanging up the phone, that " you better watch your back because I know where you live. " he then read off our current address to us. Next he said " I will continue to run this item for as long as I wish and because you have been so rude on the phone I am going to ruin your credit!"

As of now I am going to let the local police deal with him and I am also going to file a large civil lawsuit against him and his companies. From what I can find, his real name is Barry L. Williams I also spoke with a rude female probably his wife Betty Williams. He also owns Barry L. Williams Enterprises. Also I have found two more addresses where he can be found this is public information found through your local title compnay or county recorders office. The addresses are 6871 Nyanza Dr. Huntington Beach, Ca 92647 and 20442 Ravenwood Ln. Huntington Beach, CA 92646.
