It is too bad that Rip off does not check out their stories before posting them to ruin a person forever. Number one "Cindy" did not write this.  This was written by David's ex wife and her boyfriend.  David took the heat for the Nu Skin deal for his wife.  He pled guilty to protect her after she brought him into Nu Skin.  She was supposed to pay her own taxes , which she did not, and he got stuck with it after he had been ruined. Then after he lost his money she ran off with another man. 

David is a brilliant person with much foresight and when Digital Steel was poised to become very successful, his wife started slandering because he would not give her any part of it.( Notice the part that says he was hiding assests from his ex wife.)

It shows what a horrible person she is that she would do this to the father of her children.  He is a great father and is not a con.  I have seen the love his children have for him and I truly think his wife should be ashamed of what she has done.

I hope David is still working on the Digital Steel concept because had the company been launched, New Orleans would have been rebuilt already.

I know David and have done business with him.  He is not a con.  He is a very smart designer with much foresight.

Lady, you need to get a life...Crawl back under the rock...Ripoff, you have been ripped off by the man's ex wife and you are helping to ruin his life. 

Are David G. Key and Marcus G. Asay con men? You decide.

Go to the Fresno County Superior Court Family, Probate, and Small Claims website (use your favorite search engine to find it) and run a search for Virtual Cubed or Marcus W. Asay. You will see several judgements filed against Asay and Virtual Cubed. David Key was the CEO/President of Virtual Cubed. Also note that Virtual Cubed was Matchstorm Studios prior to the name change. You may also want to run a Google search for Jesusa "Suzy" Cantorna who was a major investor in Virtual Cubed / Matchstorm Studios. Whether she was a victim or willing participant is also up to you to decide. From what the searches return, it looks like Cantorna's business and ethical practices are also questionable.

As for Asay being VP of the Fresno Falcons, this is an absolute lie. Asay worked as a Marketing Consultant for the Falcons and was listed as such on their website. A recent check revealed that Asay was removed from the website and may no longer be with the Falcons organization.

David Key still maintains a website for his Digital Steel company which he runs out of his apartment. He is hoping to raise 20 million in order to get it off the ground. Before you sign any checks over to him, ask for a tour of any facilities. Are you buying into a brick and mortar company or just an idea?

I urge any potential investors to conduct due diligence on David Glen Key and Marcus Webb Asay or anyone else offering a business opportunity. The facts presented about Asay, Key, and Virtual Cubed are a matter of public record. I understand that there is an inherent risk in any investment, but are you willing to risk your capital on someone like Key and Asay? What business background does Key actually have besides being CEO of company that went belly up and left several employees and creditors without their just compensation? You have been warned.

Perhaps Mr. Key would like to explain the whole Virtual Cubed disaster where he and Marcus Asay were able to "pursuade" investors to dump thousands of dollars into their revolutionary "steel framing" business. Maybe he'll tell you how he took one investor for over 1 million dollars and left several employees with unpaid wages. Of course, David himself was too smart to leave himself directly liable for anything. Instead he left Asay holding the bag. Just type in Asay and run the search. You'll see that this guy is very popular in the court. FYI Matchstorm Studios was the prior business name these guys used before they became Virtual Cubed in order to ditch their creditors. Key served as the CEO/ President of the company and was intrumental in its downfall. A leader, talented business man, and honest person he is not and I'd be willing to wager that we'll see him on America's Most Wanted before he'll ever make it onto Business Week or Inc. Magazine. I'll give him this, the man is a good talker, most con artists are.

I can't believe David Key has the audacity to continue his con here in Fresno especially after he affected so many lives negatively. He's obviously obsessed with the potential of steel framing, but he lacks the business sense to ever make it happen. You have been warned.

All of these allegations on David Key are absolutely false. David Key is one of the most talented and honest businessmen I've ever met.

I don't appreciate whoever wrote this allegation, proposing to be me. David is a wonderful father, I have even met his kids in person and can contest to this.

As far as the $800,000 issue...I'd like to see proof of this allegation. Many of you will be reading about David in BusinessWeek or Inc. Magazine with the success he will be experiencing soon. Those that know David would laugh at these allegations. I think the truth speaks for itself.
