I got into the rent to own with the agreement that i would complete my 2010taxes to qualify for the tax credit, which i completed right away. I return to the 881HOME office located 1310 N Alvernon & Speedway to be told that you was in bankruptcy..I went to my bank to get financing and was told they could not finance the house for the amount that is needed, very upsetting. I feel you have screwed lots of families on this deal because you were not honest, taking advantage of people and not doing business faily.

I also was victimized by David Kinas back in 2008. I had just lost my husband to cancer when I met David. He convinced me to sign my home over to him. He then filed bankruptsy and started renting my home out with option to buy. There are loans owed on the home for more then $200,000 but he convinces people to buy the home from him. It's a crime he preys on people who are suffering. He neeeds to be stopped.

“I was in a prior Rent-to-Own arrangement with DNT, and unfortunately due to market conditions and other matters out of both of our control, I was unable to close purchase on the property. I stopped in the office of DNT to meet with David directly and was happy he could see me on the same day - without an appointment.
I reminded David of our situation which had happened some years prior. He apologized for what had happened and made me a reasonable closing offer to settle my case.
I think it’s important to note that we both had troubles in challenging times for us locally and as a nation. I didn’t rush out to an on-line forum or website and use an anonymous name to air my grievances; rather I simply came by to talk to David and their staff directly and worked out an amicable agreement”.

Had I done this before giving David a $2000 down payment and signing a rent to own lease I would have never stepped foot n ur office. With that Google search you will get the pdf files from 2006 in which David kinas had to repay several people for ripping them off as well as releasing liens on their home. The company jus changes names and continues to rob familys even after they have been ordered n court to stop doing business as they have been. Con artist is all he is and now he is selling cars! Upon moving into the home we had done repairs and updates thinking this was our home only to be lied to as Mr kinas was only days away from filing bankruptcy and not even able to sell us the home. We signed Feb 1 2010 and Feb 16 20110 he was in bankruptcy. I had even asked him while inquiring about the house what happens if u go into bankruptcy and his bold face lye of a reply was " I've been in buseiness here n town for over 17 years that's not gonna happen" ya sure jus happens two weeks later guess I jinksed you sure it has nothing to do with being a con man. As my original report states I went to my bank for financing but they could due to the price of the home that was at the end of my two year contract. I had financing all set up and ready to go n mar 2010 however with the home n bankruptcy he was unable to sell it to me as planned so I was stuck n a two year rental pretty much at that point
