Contractor's brother (Jonathon Partiel) claimed to have his own team. He subcontracted the work to another small company and charged 250% more, when the actual contractor (David Partiel) never stepped foot on my property. He even put a clause in the subcontractor's contract that says the sub-contractors are not allowed to speak to the clients! He still has not paid the sub-contractor in full, yet we have letters from him claiming that all work is done and up to code.
David Partiel even put a lien on our house without evidence of satisfaction or performance, as no city inspector will sign off on the work done. We are currently pursuing arbitration, but now that we have been informed of his illegal placing of liens, we are considering dropping the case and pursuing him for criminal damages in court... update coming soon. I to had a project done by David Partiel and Jonathon Partiel. This person does not make any sense. The project was contracted by them, and work was done according to city standards. Engineers, project managers ensured the project was done accurately and i had no problems with my bathroom remodeling.
As for price, I got the best deal. I love shopping around and i would never buy a project off of first bid. After going through several bids by other companies, i choose Davids because of the price. Best price, Best work!
This sounds like a crazy ex employee with a grudge. Try them out yourself and see what kind of amazing people they are.
