Dealer Spike provided our website platform for our dealership. They were a trusted source being they have thousands of dealers using their services.

We entered into a second contract in February 2019 to complete some SEO development. The first month to be free no charge.

First issue was a breach of contract as the work didn't start until mid March and promise dates of contact and reports were all false. No action took place until we pressed them.

Once the work commenced in April our company had raised several legitimate questions on how the process was taking place. Dealer Spike's upper management did not like the questions immediately they sent us an invoice for the full amount $6,000.00 to buy the contract out without answering one question. This threw up a red flag! Obviously there was a scam taking place.

We sent several communications throughout their Network demanding to cancel the SEO contract. We had sent certified cease-and-desist orders. We even tried to negotiate an exit so we would not have to litigate.

The blackmail began they demanded full payment of the SEO contract and threatened to turn off our website which was a separate contract not associated with the SEO. They kept their word and shut us down. They also kept our leads and would not release.

Dealer Spike has caused irreparable damage to our company as one third of our business comes from our website. They do not care about individual dealers/customers or committing to contractual obligations. Their main focus is on collections and utilizing blackmail methods to corner their customers and extort as they deem.

Use extreme caution when exercising any communications with this company their contracts are structured so you have to mediate in the state of Oregon. Unless you file lawsuit in federal court.

We are expecting a full-blown battle costing each side tens of thousands of dollars to litigate a $6,000 contract. And they are also demanding (even though they shut our website off to spite us which had no legal bearing against the SEO contract) the balance of the website contract making it a total of $10,000.

It's obvious they are willing to fight and spend tens of thousands of dollars because they don't want their SEO scam of harvesting money from their existing customers to end or be known.
