Debt Relief USA Taking money for doing nothing Addison Texas

I filed a complaint with the BBB after filing my report on this web site. I wanted to update my report. The BBB did contact Debt Relief USA and I received a refund of $558.74. I had paid these people $3100.00. They are claiming that the administrative fees are non-refundable. I contacted the company and they wouldn't let me say anything, just interrupted everytime I tried to speak. The rep said that I had agreed to give them 42 months to contact creditors and since I cancelled they didn't have time to do anything on my account. I tried to ask her what creditor is going to wait 42 months to be contacted? I was told by this company that my entire debt would be paid in 42 months. Not that they would wait 42 before doing anything on my account! This company knows that no creditor is going to wait that long and that by the time they get enough money most creditors are going to start suing and then they can say "we can't help you now". So as far as I am concerned this is the worst type of scam and should be illegal. I contacted the BBB to follow up with my case and was told that since this company is no longer an accredited member of the BBB and an agreement can't be met I will need to file in small claims court. If you are thinking about using any of these companies. DON'T !!!!!! They are a scam. I am now negotiating with the creditors myself and have been told by them that they don't negotiate with any of these companies only the individual borrowers themselves. So don't waste your money like I did !!!!! They are all Thieves !!!!!!!!
