I found DebtPro123 through a broker. They offered a debt settlement solution much lower than any other company on the market. DebtPro123 claims they have attorneys mitigating the negotiations which results in much lower settlements. However, what they don't tell you is that they don't have any attorneys on staff. But their website and the salesman clearly states they have attorneys. I checked DebtPro with the BBB and found they have an F rating. Anyway, when I got their contract, I noticed I'll be contracted with a company named UCG, and not DebtPro. This company preys on desperate people and scams them.

Their job

AUTHOR: Mack - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, March 08, 2013

Their job is to ripoff consumers. I say put them in jail where they belong. I do mean all of their employees, they all know what is going on. All they do is line their pockets with stolen money.

What is this BS - "QUIT THINKING and let them do the job"

You must work for them if you are telling people to quit thinking - so you can scam them

PEOPLE GET SCAMMED BECAUSE THEY ARE DID NOT THINK IN THE FIRST PLACE
They just reacted..

We ask that you take a second and get the real answers from the source - us

AUTHOR: Debtpro123 - (U.S.A.)

In order to address this posted comment against DebtPro123, I will address each line that this complaint contains.

I found DebtPro123 through a broker. Iherionei, please provide the broker who you were working with, and also please tell me why you did not feel inclined to contact us directly if you had concerns. I believe this posting is a hoax, and may have been posted by a competitor to hurt our business, or by someone who did not take the time to find out real answers. Or possibly a broker did not clearly explain our program as well as he should have, which is why I would like to know the broker who you claim you have talked with.

Also in the post, our company is referred to as Debtpro numerous times, and we want to make it clear that DebtPro is a different company than Debtpro123, and the poster may be confusing the two companies. In the past I have had a client look up Debtpro on line and contacted Debtpro instead of DebtPro123 which caused a lot of confusion, because Debtpro does not offer the financial product that we do.

They offered a debt settlement solution much lower than any other company on the market. First off it is not a Debt Settlement product, it is a product called Debt Resolution, and the process is quite different.

DebtPro123 claims they have attorneys mitigating the negotiations which results in much lower settlements. However, what they don't tell you is that they don't have any attorneys on staff. But their website and the salesman clearly states they have attorneys. What you refer to is information that is part of our marketing material, and holds true for a number of reasons. There is an attorney on retainer, and the legal department has worked for years on developing the strategies that we employ to resolve unsecured consumer debt. Not all steps in the process need an attorney to be directly involved. Our paralegals handle the compliance department and help to process important paperwork transfer for the assumption of liability and specific power of attorneys, which are key elements to our process of reworking the original terms of the lenders to offset the debt.

"I checked DebtPro with the BBB and found they have an F rating. We are well aware of the rating with the BBB, and if you take a minute to read what the rating says, it clearly states that we were classified into a category of Debt Settlement and as such we are automatically given this rating. If you also notice, there are no consumer complaints, and this is what is important when reading the fine print. According to the BBB, (anyone is welcome to verify this by calling them at 909-825-7280), they have an algorithm that calculates different factors. Due to the historical data that they have experienced with Debt Negotiating companies, they automatically rank such companies with low ratings. With their classification of us in this arena, as a result we have an F rating, which we do not feel is a valid reflection of our ability to deliver great customer service and perform on what we claim. We are working with them to provide them with any and all information to try to improve this ranking. Those familiar with Settlement models, or if you want to do research, you will clearly see that our 18 month program is not a Settlement Strategy. We assume the clients debt at the beginning of phase two, and use contract law to employ a number of tactics with the Credit Card companies to resolve the unsecured debt enrolled into the program. We have been very successful employing this strategy for 8 years with an up front payment structure, and as of recent have launched our new 18 month payment program to make the service more accessible to more individuals who can't afford to come up with the entire resolution amount up front.

Anyway, when I got their contract, I noticed I'll be contracted with a company named UCG, and not DebtPro. UCG (Universal Consumer Group) is our parent company that has a relationship with the affiliate network of attorneys we have access to as we deal with all 50 states. They house our paralegals, and receive client payments to the program. Our contract clearly relates this relationship, and as such, we are not hiding anything. Iherionei, how closely did you read the contract?

This company preys on desperate people and scams them. Your comments should be considered slander against our company. To post something like you have on this website with out contacting us directly to address your concerns, we believe is inappropriate, unprofessional, and malicious.
We also believe that this post could have been made up in order to try to solicit our business for a company who contacted us shortly after this report was posted. They were a SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Company that brought this report to our attention, and sent us an email saying the following: I noticed you have a very damaging Rip Off Report posted online at http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/437/ripoff0437122.htm We can help you suppress this negative report deep into the search engines fast! So people don't see it! If you would like us to help just take a look at our website. If this was some marketing tactic used to try to get our business to sign up for their SEO service, this too we consider to be inappropriate, unprofessional, and malicious.

We ask that you do some research on ripoffreport's website, as there are many news specials and blogs about how it works and how they do business.

We believe that people should not jump to conclusions, and that they should contact us directly with concerns rather than posting harsh comments onto a website whose company policy it to not remove comments.

We encourage people to do their due diligence, and if you have found this report in your search, we commend you for it! We just ask that you continue to do your research and call us directly at 877-388-0231 or email us at info@debtpro123.com so that one of our agents can go over any information that you need or have questions about.

Thanks for your time.

They didn't Scam you

What do you mean they prey on honest people. Did you read your contract?

You don't need an attorney to settle debt.

the BBB lists all debt companies with a F rating Even if the debt company isn't a member of the BBB. Talk about scams the BBB is the biggest Scam of all. Why don't you look them up on the Rip off report.

Before you start complaining look to your self as the source of the problem. It's people like you who ruin it for people who actually need the help.

You need to read your contract before you get started next time. Debt Settlement is Awesome if you stop thinking and let the company do the work you hired them for.
