Warning about purchasing products from fashion designer Decapolis Clothing. Here is an email thread:
Me: Im starting up a clothing store and found you on Moeim fashion I was wondering if you did any sample orders I was also wondering about your pricing and price breaks on orders over a certain amount
Decapolis: We don't send or sell samples. Discounts are given on orders $1,000 and above.
Me: I think my wife is asking if we can place a smaller order of 1 item per instead of your lot quantities. We would hate to spend $1000 on clothing that is poor quality. We are not new to retail, and given that I cannot find any information online about your products (aside from your website) - we do not feel comfortable placing such a large order with first examining the merchandise. As my wife said, we are a start-up clothing store and new to this particular industry -- and we are looking for quality manufacturers for our initial stock purchase -- if you are interested in doing business with us please put together a sample order, send me the invoice, and we will promptly pay.
Decapolis: We don't sell single units. We stand behind our product. We wouldn't be in business if our merchandise was poor in quality. You don't need to buy $1,000 to try a company out. You can buy a pack or two intially, see if you like it, and then order more if you wish.
Me: Given that I can find absolutely ZERO reference to your brand or company name anywhere on the internet ... I would say that it is a gamble - a gamble we are not willing to take. Good luck with your business -- we will carry one of the other thousands of product lines available.
Decapolis: Take a gamble, don't take a gamble, buy, don't buy, we really could care less. We don't understand your need to give us the details of your personal life and decisions. This is akin to an infant throwing a fit because s/he didn't get (discounts, samples, and whatever else you were pushing) what s/he wanted from us. If you don't want to purchase from us, don't. The reasons why you choose not to simply don't interest us. Your need to tell us is unprofessional and, quite honestly, childish. Good luck with yours as you buy from those thousands of product lines available. In the meantime, we will continue selling to our current roster of +12,000 customers.

Brian Ward, post all e-mail exchanges, not just the ones you want to show.

Jami Ward's (Brian Ward's wife) initial e-mail to us: Im starting up a clothing store and found you on Moeim fashion I was wondering if you did any sample orders I was also wondering about your pricing and price breaks on orders over a certain amount Thanks, Jami Ward Sweet Sensationz.
Our kind reply to her: Hello Jami We don't send or sell samples. Discounts are given on orders $1,000 and above. Regards, Decapolis.
Brian Ward's first e-mail to us: Decapolis -- I think my wife is asking if we can place a smaller order of 1 item -(also known as a sample)- per instead of your lot quantities. Thanks, Brian
Our kind reply to him: We don't sell single units -(we are wholesalers, not retailers)-. We stand behind our product. We wouldn't be in business if our merchandise was poor in quality. You don't need to buy $1,000 to try a company out. You can buy a pack or two intially, see if you like it, and then order more if you wish -(we don't think we could be any more reasonable and accommodating than this. We also have a very comfortable return policy)- Decapolis.
Brian Ward's threats begin: Your "brand" name will begin to show up in all of the major search engines within short time ... thanks for your patience -(threatening to post false claims as he didn't get the discounts and free samples he was demanding)-.
More of Brian Ward's threats: It's obvious that you could care less ... Is your product line so famous that you don't even have a domain name? -(we do, and this individual mentions it quite a few times here, www.decapolisclothing.com)- You use a gmail email account for your customer contacts, really? -(we have several e-mail accounts, this person also mentions them here)- Why no mention of your brand name or company name? http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=decapolis+fashion&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=baa94940edcea411 Why no products online? http://www.google.com/products?q=decapolis+clothing&hl=en&aq=f Not Amazon either? http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=decapolis+dress What about eBay? http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1313&_nkw=decapolis&_sacat=See-All-Categories Nope. Let me guess -- your products are _only_ sold in upscale boutique's in Beverly Hills? Your response time is horrible, and it is clear that you don't even have a clue about small business -(the majority of our satisified customers are small businesses)-, as your response has no relevance to my statements - only backlash to my pointing out that you're a no-namer. I'll be sure to leave appropriate comments where ever possible -- maybe then folks will be able to find true information about your bogus "brand" on Google -(false accusation, contradictory to what he says afterwards)-.
Brian Ward's threats continue: It's clear that you're a one-man show, given that you respond to emails three times per week -(no, we simply have something called a customer service department)-. Do you handle all 12,000 customers at once? I'll go ahead and forward this to your partners and post follow-up comments online -(making threats to post false statements about our company again)-. This was never about "discounts" or "samples" - it never was -(yes it was, that is all he was asking for since the beginning. Check initial e-mails posted above)-. We _were_ a potential customer. As I said, we are a start up clothing store, we are new to this industry -- but we have been doing retail for years and I'm shocked by your responses. We have dozens of professional business references and credit dating back tens of years. Your insults will get you far -- in fact, when someone looks for more information about your company -- they will know how you respond to customers. Enjoy your publicity: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=decapolis+clothing&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=baa94940edcea411 http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=decapolis+fashion&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=baa94940edcea411 http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=decapolis+quality&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=baa94940edcea411 Thanks, Brian Software Engineer, Business Analyst Retail Entrepreneur
Brian Ward's latest e-mail: I'm sure your competitors will be highly concerned (and interested) in your personal affairs.
Our reply to him: If you're going to post our e-mail exchanges on ripoffreport.com, post all of them. But don't bother, we'll gladly do it for you, right now. You're making public accusations ("poor quality," and related nonsense) when you have never purchased from us. That website will not back you up when you're making false claims (read their terms of service). Check with your legal counsel, Brian Ward, "business analyst" and "software engineer" from Sacramento, California, as a libel lawsuit is headed your way as we speak. Good luck.

1. You're claiming our merchandise is of poor quality when you have never purchased from us. False statement. You claim we are a "no name" brand. False statement. A libel lawsuit is headed your way.
2. The e-mail thread you posted actually does a good job of portraying you as a rude, unreasonably demanding individual. Our conversation does not turn sour until you become confrontational after we reject your request for free samples and discounts.
3. We will settle this nonsense in court.

The latest from Decapolis Clothing:
Stop crying because you didn't get samples and discounts from us. [I didn't ask for samples OR a discount] You're pathetic. How old are you? The URL is www.decapolisclothing.com. The e-mails are sales@decapolisclothing.com, decapolis@fashiongo.net, and decapolis@lashowroom.com. Besides whining a lot, it's obvious you don't know a thing about Internet search. Our URL and e-mail addresses are being given to you because you are permanently blocked from all our databases [Does this even make sense? Is this person implying that he's blocked his existence on the internet from me?], so it makes no difference to us whether you know where to find us or not. Jokes like you do not get merchandise, or discounts, or samples from us. Ever. Save all this time you seem to have and learn how to run your business (if indeed you have a business). It's obvious you're going to need it. And learn some manners while you're at it. Every vendor on www.moeim.net, www.fashiongo.net, and www.lashowroom.com will be warned about you, "Whiny Brian," and this puny little "company" of yours, (sensationz? With a Z? Really? That's cute), and your nonsense requests and dumb, childish e-mails. We will move onto permanently banning you from all three online malls as well.
