Deje Kondor and Pat McAtasney Fort Myers Presbyterian Community, Inc., Presbyterian Homes and Housing Foundation Corporate Corruption Coverup of Recent Employee Terminations Internet, Florida

We who live here in the Fort Myers Presbyterian Community Apartments located at 1925 Virginia Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33901-3318 are posting this complaint against Mrs. Pat McAtasney Corporate Relations Director, and Mrs. Deje Kondor Chief Executive Officer of the Presbyterian Homes and Housing Foundation of Florida because of the disgust that these two women cause us. For more than a year we have been lead to believe that Ms. Joanne Walters the Administrator terminated several good employees out of spite. However, we recently found out that both Mrs. Pat McAtasney and Mrs. Deje Kondor were the responsible parties for terminating those good employees that were conducting themselves in an admirable fashion and serving the residents of our building in a cordial, respectful manner. These two women did this in order to cover up their failure of addressing elderly abuse concerns in a responsible and timely manner after said concerns were brought to the attention of those members of the building staff that they then terminated. Instead of being responsible in addressing the elderly concerns brought to their attention, both these women played a major role in dismissing these valuable employees and covering up their tracks by tearing up the Administrator's office and going through all the documents and files with the intent of finding things that they could then use against them to validate their dismissal from the premises.  We can't believe the nerve these women have to address us in so hypocritical a manner by acting all friendly and nice to us in order to silence us from stating the facts of what we feel have been abuses against kind and generous people who were doing their job in providing quality customer service to those who sought their aid. If we could all find another place to go to, we would leave in a heartbeat so that we don't have to see those hypocrites sucking up to the residents in the building by giving them what they are asking for with the intent that no one will find out that these things have been long overdue to us anyway. If it weren't for the Fair Housing Investigation that was recently conducted in our building about the alleged abuses of the former Administrator, the recent replacements of appliances, and new carpet and tiles, and other miscellaneous work done throughout the building wouldn't have become a reality.  What a person will do to protect their job and keep from getting fired.  After the Fair Housing investigation Mrs. Deje Kondor went through the all the files and documents in the local office and fired the Administrator in June 2011. We are posting this complaint because Mrs. Pat McAtasney and Mrs. Deje Kondor should have addressed the residents concerns last year, and taken disciplinary actions against the Administrator Joanne Walters's behavior. Instead they decided to 1) eliminate the Administrative Assistants position, dismissing a gentle man who had done so much for us in the years that he was our employee, and 2) dismissing two front desk clerks who were doing a fine job but who were unfortunately wrongfully accused of not doing their best for the residents, when in actuality they weren't the ones who failed to address several emergency situations which took place in our building in a quick and definitive manner. We believe that these wonderful employees should never have been treated in this unfair manner. We are very insulted everytime we see Mrs. Deje Kondor trying to demonstrate an exterior facade of sweetness and pleasantry when we are present. We are not fooled by it. We can see through her mask, and unfortunately we have also heard some of her stupid comments about the elderly in general and there is no way that we can approve of them. One such statement was, Nothing screams Low Income Housing louder than the tacky old thrift store furniture and mismatched paintings on each floor of this building. She obviously doesn't appreciate the fact that our building is composed of elderly residents who are on a fixed budget and cant afford expensive furniture. Just cause Mrs. Deje and Mrs. Pat get paid very well, by residents like us in all the buildings they manage throughout Florida, and they can afford such luxuries, doesnt give them the right to snob us because we are financially limited. We can't forget their actions regarding the replacement of the furniture in our building: all of our donated items ended up being hauled out of the building, or given to charity, or thrown away in the garbage. These actions of Mrs. Deje Kondor, and Mrs. Pat McAtasney against our community have forced us to conclude that they should not be allowed to work in the management of elderly community facilities such as ours. We ask how many other communities like ours have been treated in this same manner by these women? Therefore, we respectfully ask that Fair Housing, HUD, and the Board of Directors for the local building and the Presbyterian Homes and Housing Foundation intervene, and remove these women from working in the management of elderly community buildings such as ours. We love our residents and our elderly community building too much to want our communities to be run by such individuals. We thank the Ripoff Report Website for allowing us to voice our concerns. Your forum assures us that justice is served when we are able to exercise our freedom of Speech and bring to the public light abuses such as these. We hope that this complaint may bring justice to those who were wrongfully hurt by the actions of these evil women, and may this also serve as a deterrent from future repetitions of these wrongful actions.
