Delta Faucet Bad lifetime guarantee Nationwide

I called on problems with the buttons sticking on your Delta Faucet 55424 ActivTouch Adjustable Wall Mount Hand Shower, Chrome.  Was told to soak  the head in vinegar & water.. I did.. didn't help.. button still stuck.  I called back and Delta was happy to replace the errant model OR i could get 70% some other model shower head..   I thought possibly the 70%  off was a good idea.. I think  the "button" design on the ActivTouch is prone to problems .. even with city water..and I'm in a rented condo and can't add a water softner to remove any hardness in the water that might create the "sticky buttons" on the ActivTouch.. which seems to be a recurring problem (per the internet).  I selected the model 59426 to replace the 55424 .. it listed for $106.25 I paid you $30.79 for the replacement.  Today I look up the 59426 and see it sells for $44.29 on Amazon..  So I paid originally $77.99 for the 55424 ActivTouch    and now $30.79 for the 59426 replacement .. Total $108.78 .. for a $44.29 shower head on a LIFETIME GUARANTEE product.    I'm going to report this  to a consumer watchdog . I should have researched this better but thought your offer was fair until I found your prices on DeltaFaucet.com are totally false and misleading .  I think I was  totally ripped off on this.  I end up with a $44 shower head that cost me $108.78.
