*Consumer Comment: Wrong
I was informed that I was named for a grant. When I applied I was asked to send a payment. After I made the payment I was asked to send another. After I made the payment I was asked to send another. I was told I did not have to send another payment. Then I was asked to send another payment. I was promised I would not have to send another payment. Yes, you guessed it, I was asked to send another payment. Well the total has been over $5,000 and they are sill asking for more. The sad part is that this is a government agency and that is what our country has come to. Pathetic.

You got scammed by an overseas scammer (usually from India or Nigeria). NO goverment agency asks for money UPFRONT for ANYTHING!! From the DHH - People who run scams often claim to provide help and sometimes claim to be "federal government" officials—don’t be fooled by these scams that request money from you. It is illegal to ask you to pay to apply for or to increase your odds of being awarded a federal grant.
