In early July 2018, I noticed a beauty cream ad on the Yahoo Home Page.  I clicked the link and found an Ad for a free sample of the cream for the price of shipping and handling (which was $5.79).  I was careful to thoroughly examine the ad and there was No fine print for ANY Kind of additional required purchases or fees so I felt confident ordering the cream.  I purchased it with my Visa Debit card linked to my bank account.

After I received the cream, I noticed a very strange charge on my online bank statement from WTLLC for $97.50.  I immediately alerted my bank that I did not know what the charge was and cancelled my Visa Card.  The bank representative said the charge was associated with a Water Resource Company which I had never heard of or had any dealings with.

Several days after I alerted my bank about the unauthorized charge, another company called AVANWRINKLE.NET billed my bank account for $87.50 and threw it into Overdraft Mode.  When I saw this fraudulent charge, I immediately called the company to find out what they were doing.  The Company's Operator tried to force me to accept the cream charge and offered to lower the billing amount to $50 because I was rejecting the entire transaction.  She then told me that I had failed to contact the company and cancel my Product Subscription within the allotted time frame and that was the reason I was being charged an additional $87.50 for the cream.  THERE WAS NOTHING STATED ANYWHERE IN THEIR YAHOO AD THAT INDICATED I WAS ORDERING A 3ounce JAR OF FACIAL CREME that COSTS in EXCESS of %92.00!!!  Are You Kidding Me.  THIS WAS A TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH TO DECEIVE CUSTOMERS like myself.

I instructed the Company Representative to close my account immediately and then went to my bank and filed a MERCHANT DISPUTE FORM.  After several weeks, My bank was unsuccessful in reclaiming those funds which included a $25 Non-Sufficient Bank Fee, $12 cash account balance, initial $5.79 FREE SAMPLE Fee from this Company and the $87.50.  The Company Representative gave my bank the run-around.

So I would like to WARN EVERYONE Out there in CyberLand NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAMMERS.  They will get you the prroduct sample as agreed and then turn around and bill you $87.50.  Trying this creme cost me over $130.00 and a bank account.  IT WAS A TOTAL RIPOFF! and I hope other Unsuspecting Folks see this Report and avoid this very negative experience.  BE SAFE OUT THERE FOLKS.  -:)
