What can I say, I to fell for this scam

I have health insurance but when they offered me a health care program that would pay 70% of my Doctor visits and Dental visits. I asked the representative that I was speaking with if my Doctor was on there list of approved physicians, I was placed on hold while she checked, when she returned on the line she told me that indeed his office was approved with their company. I decided if my Doctor was approved with them this had to be the real thing so I signed up for their service.

I called my Doctor and found out that he had no idea what I was talking about, he had never heard of this company. I signed up on 1/09/2006 at 3 p.m. realized I had been scammed by 4 p.m. and called to cancel. They would not let me speak to a representative at all. So I called again this morning and again there was no one I could speak with, someone will have to call me back is what I am told every time that I call.

Another very interesting factor is they have caller I.D. and as soon as I call I hear Ms. XXXXXX, someone will get back to you, can we call you back at (xxx) xxx-xxxx

I have already called my bank and will be doing a charge back. I also changed my credit card number so that they cannot withdraw any further funds from my account. If you to have fallen for this scam, I suggest you do the same. My bank Washington Mutual has been great in helping resolve this situation and has noted my account. I will update everyone as soon as my situation is resolved, because I don't plan on resting until it is!
One additional thing to consider they only record you accepting the program, they do not record what they are selling you.

I understood this was not medical Insurance but I was told it was a health care coverage program that would pay 70% of my Doctor and Dental visits, with hospitalization coverage, hearing and vision coverage. They do none of these things.

If you are considering signing up, PLEASE DON'T DO IT!
And if you already have, cancel your credit card or ATM card, do a charge back, and PLEASE post your story everywhere you can so that we can spare others the pain of dealing with this. They are the best scam artists I have ever come across, don't be embarrassed that you too were fooled.
