I will try to pick apart this report in a fair and balanced way.  This person's report carries many false comments and a reply is necassary.

I was employed as a Health Educator and was recruited with a too good to be true offer. It was commission based and I was told to expect 70k-90k my first year. This is a scam and you will not make much money at all. 

This job is not straight commission based at the beginging, we work on a percent to goal plan, plus a point system which was put in place a couple years ago and has recived great feedback from newer employess.  If you work every week day, you should have no problem meeting both percent to goal and that months points goal.  It is acutally very easy to make 90-100k in your first year.  In full disclousure, this job is on a 1099, which means you are respobsible for your own benefits. We have people who have been working for us for 15 years, most are around 5-10 years currently.  We have over 50 Health Educators in the field.

I've had success in outside sales for many years with other real companies, but this IS NOT a career opportunity. Even if you are succesful, they will change the commission structure or fire you after they tap into your network for business. 

The only comisission structure change in the last few years, has been to go to a points system, which actually makes it easier for the person to make the max ammount of money that month.  If we have people that have been working for us for over 10 years, whouldn't we have fired them already?  I think so, and the truth is we have not fired anyone without an extremely good reason (ie. they were working for us and a competitor at the same time.)

Do your research on the upper management of this company. They are new and came from other multi-level marketing schemes. Also, DO NOT BE FOOLED by other Health Educators on LinkedIn or the companies phony attempts to defend this report. Stay away from this place and hopefully someone will shut down their scam tactics soon. 

This is the most troubling statment this person has suggested.  Designs for Health is a family owned and operated company.  It is owned by a family who has never owned another vitamin company besides this one.  It is not an MLM, this is a professional company which sells only to licensed practitoners.  I hate to say this, but it's more a pharma company than an MLM, except we use natual ingediants instead of harmful drugs.  

Also, most of our upper managment comes from other nutracueatical companies, we have 0 people from MLM's, working at this company.  We are not a marketing firm, like MLM's, we have a very large research and development arm, and focus on product development and education the most.

Please message other employees on LindedIn, remeber what I said abouve they all work on a 1099, so they have no reason to lie to you, they are not full time employees.  If you really have a question about the companie's integrety i suggest you contact the founder/CEO Jonathan Lizotte, he is always available to help answer any of your questons or conerns.
