I received a call from the company stating they saw my resume on the internet and were interested in talking to me. I checked their information on this website and found that they had the same pattern under two previous names. (They still have the same phone number -- new name.) They did not return calls as requested. They gave their name as Diamond International with no indication as to what they do. I decided not to pursue the "opportunity" THIS IS A WARNING -- THIS LOOKS LIKE THE SAME OUTFIT WITH A NEW ALIAS ! ! !

Email reportfraud@monster.com if they TA contacted you off of Monster

AUTHOR: Kim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 04, 2003

I called 1800-Monster and spoke to a customer service gentleman. He told me they have received alot of complaints from job seekers regarding Primerica and Trek Alliance, Primerica seems to be the biggest culprit. He said they are working on a system that should prevent alot of these companies from contacting legitimate job seekers. He said it's hard to totally ban them but they are going to improve the system and possibly make then identify themselves immediately to the job seeker that they are a MLM, before the interview is arranged. This will save alot of people time, since most do not know its a MLM scam, and I told him people are sick of getting suckerpunched by these guys and wasting half a Saturday.

The guy also said these 2 companies are hard to follow up with because of all the various diffrent phone numbers that are linked up with them such as cell phones that are often disconnected after a few months.

If you get contact by these guys off of monster, please get the name of the recruiter and their phone number and address and email reportfraud@monster.com so monster can crack down on these guys.
