Diploma Sender Diploma Sender Cancels account with no notification, then demands $250 to create a new one!

We had an account with Diploma Sender and were utilizing it off and on for several years. They up and decided recently that our email address on file was not a valid address since it  did contain a persons name. Instead of notifying us to update the account to an email address that contains a users name associated with the account, they completely disabled and deactivated our account with no warning and no contact.

When we contacted them to ask what the issue is, they stated our email address did not meet their criteria and all emails must comtain a users name. We advised if we can access the account, we can change the address to the users name instead of a distribution group email that we initially were using. They flat up stated no, and that we would need to creat a whole new account, and pay a hefty $250 account creation fee. I, as the manager reached out to them, (needless to say they have no phone numbers or email addresses listed on their web page, only a chat window.) and stated our issue and if they could wave the $250 due to we have been a long time current customer.

The response I received was that we have not conducted very many searches with them and that the $250 was the set up fee, and that it would not be waved.  I advised them of their poor customer service practices and that I, myself being in the customer service industry would never, for one; Deactivate and account with not advising the customer, and two; add insult to injury in demanding $250 to activate a new one.

I will not be conducting any services with this shady company ever again, and will advise others of their unethical business practices and complete lack of customer service.
