Direct 2 Drive Bought a game that was so bad it was unplayable unknown, California

I have purchased many games from Direct 2 Drive. This particular game is a terrible port from a console and is almost unplayable. I couldn't finish it because of the bad controls. I want a refund. I emailed Direct 2 Drive twice and have gotten no response. Others have had the same trouble with this company. If I go to say Best Buy and buy a game I can take it back for a store credit. Not so here. They won't even communicate. I don't like throwing my money in the toilet. Sometimes you cannot tell how half finished and crummy a game is until you download it. Then it is too late. This is just a blatant ripoff of peoples money. This company is famous for it.
