Discover Moving And Storage stole money out of bank account without permission and tried to take our stuff because we refuse to pay the "new" amount of 13,000 original being 4,200 the sheriff department have to track them down to get out stuff back but they still managed to steal 800 and 1000 out of our bank account not to mention the 500 up front Charlotte North Carolina

Got a quote from Discovery Moving and it was 4,200 we had to put down 500.00 they were to pick our stuff up and move it from Ohio to Arizonia. They were late arriving they broke some things package and load not even half of our stuff and told us they were going to lunch. They had not went to lunch they were gone for hours finally some one from the main office called and told us the price had change it was now 13,000. I ask why so much different they said the price was just a quote. We asked for the stuff to be brought back and was told that it would cost 6000 to unload it. The truck was not even full and the front of the truck had someone elses stuff in it. They refused to bring it back without "cash" or credit card payment over the phone. The driver calls back and says he wants cash and will wait till morning and will bring it back if I give him 2000 in cash. But in the mean time the company withdrew $1800 out of our checking account without permission. I called the sheriffs department they tracked down the truck and followed them back to the house Discovery told the driver not to bring the stuff back or he was going to be fired. He had no choice or I dont think he would have brought it back or he might have just to get the 2,000 in cash. They unpacked our stuff and we had to rent another moving van which we drove ourselves to Arizonia. So this moving company would have probaly tried to withdral more money if I had no closed the account. So I would never suggest you use this ripp off company.
