Has anyone else had a similar experience with DiscoverCard?

Discover unlawfully added $930.85 to my account (above and beyond the late charge they added, and subtracted after I pointed out to them that I did nothing wrong and indeed, they were at fault for my not receiveing 4 months statements for my account). Details are written in my letters . . .

I have written letters to David Nelms (CEO for Discover), the Federal Trade Commission offices, the California Attorney General, etc. Their violations of consumer rights must stop!

#4 UPDATE EX-employee responds

More Info

AUTHOR: Nisa - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 03, 2008

The info you gave was very vague so I'll be assuming.

If you have not recieved your statements you can just call 1-800-discover or go to discovercard.com and update your address and view your past statements. It would be best to call so the representative can send you the past four months (hard copies) of your statements to your new address as well as update your address and remove the late fees and finance charges associated with this particular incident from off of your account. The balance left over would be the balance that you would owe.

Exception:
If the charge is fraudelant you would call in and advise the rep who would send you to the fraud department. After more info is given you would then be assigned a personal fraud specialist for your case all while being under the zero dollar fraud liability garauntee.

Please call discover for any further questions about your account so this may be resolved without affecting your credit anylonger.
