I very angry with DISH NETWORK!

On November 2, 2013, I had moved from my house (which was sold) to an apartment I had to cancel DISH BECAUSE THE APARTMENT ONLY ALLOWS COMCAST! I INFORMED DISH OF THAT!

TWO WEEKS AGO I RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM THEM THAT DIS IS GOING TO AUTOMATICALLY WITHDRAW AN EARLY TERMINATION FEE OF $380 ON JAN. 2ND UNLESS I GO BACK TO DISH! (THEY SAID IT WAS IN THE CONTRACT. I WAN NEVER TOLD THIS!) I DO NOT GET UNTIL PAID UNTIL THE JAN 3RD! I CALLED LAST WEEK AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION. BUT THEY'RE TELLING ME THE...Y CANNOT STOP IT BECAUSE IT IS AUTOMATED AND THEY CANNOT STOP THEN AFTER I RETURNED THE EQUIPMENT THEY AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED ME $17.00! (THEY NEVER SENT ME THE BOX. HAD TO CALL THEM TWO WEEKS LATER) THE LADY AT DISH TOLD ME THAT IT'S GOING TO BE DONE ON THE 2ND AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT!

AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE SOME SAID THEY WOULD TAKE IT OUT ON JAN 5TH, BUT OTHERS SAID IT WOULD BE ON THE 2ND.

I'VE CALLED THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE, AND ALL I GET IS A BRICK WALL! DISH IS PUNISHING ME FOR LEAVING AND I'M TRYING TO GET THIS SETTLED BUT THEY'RE TELLING, THAT THEY'RE NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT, AND "THAT WE YOU INFORMED TWO WEEKS AGO." AND "I SIGNED THE CONTRACT".

NOW I'M WORRIED ABOUT MY CHECK BOUNCING! ON THE PHONE WITH THE PRESIDENT'S OFFICE AND THEY'LL TELLING TO "TALK TO THE BANK TO HELP ME OUT" I'M ASKING THEM TO HELP AND DISH WILL NOT BUDGE! AND DISH IS TELLING ME I "BROKE THE CONTRACT"! NEVER MIND THE FACT THAT MY MOTHER DIED, THE HOUSE WAS SOLD AND I HAD TO CANCEL DISH BECAUSE THE APARTMENT ONLY ALLOWS COMCAST! NOW THEY'RE TELLING THAT WHEN I SIGNED THE CONTRACT I CONSENTED TO HAVE AN AUTOMATED WITHDRAWAL OF THE EARLY TERMINATION FEE!

ALL THAT DISH NETWORK IS DOING IS GOING AROUND WITH ME!

ONE DISH REP TELLS ME THE JAN 5TH SOMEONE ELSE TELLS ME JAN 2ND!

NOW I HAVE TO GO TO THE BANK TOMORROW AND TALK TO THEM ABOUT THIS!

UPSET WITH DISH NETWORK! THEY DO NOT WANT TO WORK WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS!

DISH NETWORK YOU SUCK!!

YOU DID agree to the pro-rated early termination fee as a means of Dish providing equipment and service up front.

YOU DID agree to them using the method of payment you used to obtain the service to collect any outstanding amounts from you.  They don't need to "tell" you all this, it IS in the contract YOU signed. If they did "explain" all of it to you, you would be back here saying they lied when they explained it...wouldn't you?

It doesn't matter who died or why you didn't maintain the service for the minimum two years.  If they didn't pro-rate the costs over the two years, the price to get the service would be significantly higher.

Before you claim I work for them, I don't...never have, but do use their service since it began years ago.

You're wastin your time and theirs raising hell with them.  They just expect you to live up to that contract you signed, but STILL haven't read.

Explain to all of us how they are Ripping YOU off.
