I disconnected my service in CA in April 2006. At a home I was moving from. I was told on March 27, 2006 by
Bertha operator number GUF that boxes would be mailed
to my home so I could return the receiver and 2 remote
controls to Dish. I did not receive the boxes at my
CA address by April 9, 2006 the day of my move.

On April 7, 2006 I called customer service again and
spoke to Len operator number 5N7 he assured me the
boxes would be sent to my new hone address in Casa Grande, AZ and it would take 7-10 business days. The boxes never arrived.

I called the customer service department again on
April 20, 2006 and this time spoke to Chelsea operator
number 6BV she again assured me the boxes would be
sent to my new address within 7-10 business days and
she apologized for the mistake and assured me the
boxes would be sent this time. The boxes never
arrived.

In the mean time I have received a refund of $43.77
from Dish via a check. I am now in receipt of a bill
for $431.00 for Equipment fees and tax.

On May 16, 2005 I again called the customer service line and spoke to Sam operator number WIB he again assured me the boxes would be sent in 7-10 business days. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was on hold for 30 minutes waiting to speak to a supervisor when Sam came back on the line and pretended to be a supervisor. Same person, same voice same hollow promises.

Today is June 16, 2006. I never received the boxes Sam promised and I have again received another bill from Dish Network for $431.00.

Tonight I spoke with Cecilia Operator #6Z0 she again has assured me I will recieve boxes from Dish Network within 7-10 business days. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she said there were 9 people ahead of me and she had no idea how long I would have to wait to speak to someone.

When I asked if they could take my information and call me back she told me they were not able to make out-bound calls. I would have to wait or call back maybe during the week when the wait was not so long.

I gave up and hung up knowing I will never see the boxes. This is a scam of the highest caliber. There is no phyical place in any town in the United States where a customer can walk in and return Dish Network equipment. Either the customer assumes financial responsibility to return the equipment or you get charged for the equipment becasue you are unable to return it. The boxes never arrive.

I was given a return equipment address by Cecilia.

It is Dish Network Service 1285 A Joe Battle Blvd., Dock 14 El Paso, TX 79936. I am afraid to return the equipment after all this. My fear is the company will then say they never received the equipment from me. If a consumer in my similar situation could confirm this address for me I am tempted to return the equipment at my own cost to end this nightmare.

I will never do business with this fraudulent company again. Buyer beware!

Return the DISH equipment

AUTHOR: Kelley - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 22, 2006

Deanna: Send your DISH package via UPS. UPS allows you to track the package all the way to the end of the line. (Don't forget the insurance!) If you don't return it, your credit card will the charged for the full amount. (My RipOffReport against DISH was filed a few days before yours, but for a different reason.) I pritned a copy of the UPS delivery in El Paso, and was able to prove to DISH that they DID get my equipment, plus who signed for it. Hope this helps. Kelley
