I paid this company $399.00 for a Paramedic refresher course. This course is required by my state to renew my Paramedic license. Sadly I became sick and missed my renewal date. I did not attend any of these classes. I did not use any of the services this company offers. When I requested a refund I was promptly told that I was past the one week refund date. Essentially this company has reieved $399 for absolutely nothing.

I had to renew my paramedic in florida, and had 35 days to do so because i put it off. My own fault. I found this company that offered the CME I needed, so I just went for it. Soon after I got pnumonia. Well over their week return policy before I could get online again. Even still I thought i could pay Florida their late fee and take these classes. Long story is I stil have not utilized this service that I paid for. I still have not recieved a refund. At this point it is all just a expensive lesson. One they didnt advertise. Guess I got schooled after all.
So no, I was not sick for three months. I just intended to try and utilize the service up until that point.
God Bless
Rob

Nae,
Your comment "Let the kid at least take your class so he comes back in the future and pays you another 399", you might have missed the last sentence in my reply "and he still has access to and can still take the over 300 classes offered per month until 12/2018, our policy is 2 years from purchase date or until completion of the course." The Provider in question has until Dec 2018 to take classes, no noe has restricted his access nor has anyone removed him from the system, he can take classes with us until 12/2018.
Thank you,
Scott McConnell

I was looking for complaints on this company when I found this. I spoke to a lady in your office this week that was quite rude. Then I saw Scott's reaction to this post and thought his buisiness must be so great he is not worried about people coming back. EMTS and Paramedics have to renew the certs every few years. With being said regardless of a refund policy there is somthing called crap happens in life. Let the kid at least take your class so he comes back in the future and pays you another 399. I am guessing you lost his future buisiness and other people he knows. In this day and age with Social Media no company is too good you will lose customers. I am on the fence as to if I will come back in two years and pay this company $399, and if I don't I will gladly tell my many cohorts in the field why.

The student signed up for a live paramedic refresher. On our website the refund policy is clear, no questions asked 100% refund if you request it during the first week. This student waited 3 months. We are sorry he was sick (for 3 months?) but unfortunately our policy is clear. The student did not pay for "absolutely nothing" he paid for a live 48hr paramedic refresher and he still has access to and can still take the over 300 classes offered per month until 12/2018, our policy is 2 years from purchase date or until completion of the course.
