*REBUTTAL Individual responds: Buyer's statements not accurate
Dfj-coins aka DAVID FICKLESTIEN is an ebay seller of rare coins. We purchased a $900 coin from him and recieved an empty box. When he was contacted, he all but accused us of being behind it. He spent a month making up excusses and delaying filing a claim. He has since filed a claim, recieved the money and kept it. Nothing like another fraud on the internet. he iscurrently being sued for fraud and insurance theft.

Buyer's statements not accurate
AUTHOR: djf-coins - ()
SUBMITTED: Friday, September 05, 2014
The buyer purchased eBay item 390843004817 - 1900 PCGS PR55 Morgan Dollar. Buyer paid for item on July 29, 2014. Coin shipped Priority Mail / Signature Confirmation / Insured on July 30. Package received and signed for on August 1, 2014 by the buyer. Buyer then claimed that the USPS box was opened, the PCGS slab was cracked open, the coin was removed, the broken slab was placed back in the USPS box, and the box was resealed.
Buyer was asked 7 times by me via eBay emails to provide a picture of the broken slab with the certification number face up. Buyer did not comply and filed an eBay case against me. eBay High Value Claims requested that the buyer file a police report, and provide a copy if the police report to eBay.
eBay gave the buyer until August 18, 2014 to comply with their request. The buyer did not, so eBay extended the deadline until August 22, 2014. The buyer still did not comply so eBay closed the case in my favor.
My eBay feedback is 100% positive and I am a Top Rated eBay seller.
An insurance claim was not filed by me because the buyer did not provide a copy of the police report or a picture of the broken PCGS slab. There is no pending lawsuit against me. The buyer's statements are not accurate. My statements are fact and can be backed up, upon request, with copies of my eBay emails and emails from eBay High Value Claims.
