Doggie Style Pet Store Grooming Dog Boutique Rittenhouse Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

If you've ever thought about going to any of the numerous Doggie Styles in the Philadelphia, or Greater Philadelphia region, please take not.

These stores have numerous complaints about their dog grooming problems, from bleeding nails to snipped genitals and stomachs, some of which sent the dogs to veterinary care. Great thing to know is they hire their groomers from Petsmarts and then charge more for the same quality. 

My short lived employment with the company left an awful taste in my mouth, my first few days of working, I was asked by a construction worker why I was working there, when I questioned why they would ask such a thing, I was told "I am smart person, I'll figure it out soon enough." And soon enough I did. The owner is a terribly rude man, who was continuously cursing and using explicates and had everyone walking on eggshells when he walked in.

Some of the shirts that had been in storage came to our store, covered and soaked in mouse feces and pee. The answer to this problem? Throw them in the washer machine that the groomers use and sell them. What else would be the right answer?   Not exactly what I expect to be buying at a high end pet boutique.

This store is not below finding loopholes or just ignoring rules altogether. My store over hired to get the store up and running as quickly and possible and then fired the excess. The store was up and running so quickly, that they hadn't even had an occupancy license when they opened their doors to the public.  When I brought this to their attention, I was promptly fired the same day. I should have seen a problem when the store had to keep paper on the all the street facing windows and sneak the employees into the store. Not only we were working in a store without an occupancy license, we were also prepping the store to open while excessive and unsafe construction was still being done. It's all about the money with this place. 

I would never bring any of the animals I love to this store.
