Dolce Salon & Spa----- Besse and Courtney Hair extensions and color Santa Barbara California

 I was so disappointed, thought I had found an ethical trustworthy hair salon. Besse claims to be a color and hair extension expert. also, says come to me I give discounts. I went in for the 15 minute consulation. She said ok we will order two bundle of extnesionsyour hair is damaged so we will just rinse with a conditioner. the charges will be 385.00.  after the rinse I said what happen my hair looks darker she said oh some of that will wash out. After the extensions were done. I said ok my hair is too long I need a trim and these do not appear to be as shiny and full as they normally are. I have been getting extensions for 14 years. Then when I go to check out the bill is 585. I said what happen?? She said I decided to add color and an extra bundle. I said I did not ask for any of this. She says sometimes hairdressers need to make decisions for you. I said I really do not have another 200 dollars. She said well do you thiink I am only going to work for 385. I said why did you quote me 385 during the consultation. then she started tellong Courtney the owner I asked for the additioanl bundle and color. Which was not true. I know courtney had to side with her because she helps pay the rent, however this will only work short term as the reputation of the salon I am cetain is not good, with this unprofessioanl behavior. They do not een have a website.

I thoguth something was wrong because they only have a few hair dressers most salons have more than 2 or 3. Be careful they seem trustworthy at first at then raise their prices without telling you and try and blame it all on you. When I checked with another salon they said she used very low quality extensions. I had to have them all replacec and spen another 350.

Their behavior was unacceptable when I would not agree to pay the entire 585. However  I did. I do not know how they can live with themselves taking advantage of people.  Jill the receptionist gets her extensions for free, however we are paying for hers as well this is one of the reasons they added the extra bundle.  Beware of this Salon.
