Dollar General Stores How Dollar General believes 4 x 40 cents is 1.29 not 1.60 Lake Worth, Florida

Dollar General advertises 2 litter Coca Cola products on sale as .85. They are regularly 1,25. You are limited to buying 4
When I was rung up for purchasing them, it came up as 1.25. At the bottom of the receipt it reads 32% or negative 1.29
5.00 minus 1.29 is 3.71. 4 times .85 or the sale price is 3.40. Dollar General is ripping every customer off who buys their advertised coca cola at the rate of .0775 cents a bottle.
This company of idiots thinks its fine too. The store manage named Ina said its corporate and she can't refund .31 cents. Dollar General thinks their customers are idiots who can't do math. They're the idiots instead.

I like shopping at the dollar stores 'cause I don't have to dress up like I do when shopping at Walmart.

Is this what you are saying happened?
Normally the soda is $1.25 per 2 liter. Therefore, 4 2-liters would be $5.00
They are running a sale for 0.85$ a 2-liter. therefore 4 2-liters should be $3.40
You were charged $3.71 for 4 2-liters for a price difference of 31 cents. So you were overcharged 0.0775 cents per 2 liter.
My only question, what was your total after tax? With the difference being around 8 cents, that very well could be the sales tax on top of the 85 cents. If tax was added on later, then yes they owe you 31 cents.
