Domain SEO Service Registration Corp. Unsucessful Money Grab That will be reported to the FTC! Miami Beach Florida

I was sent an email (sent from the contact form on my site) from this scammer stating that I had 3 days to renew the registration for my domain as this was the "final renewal notification." First of all, I've never received any previous notification regarding my domain, which is already registered with GoDaddy until next year. I clicked a link within the email which directed me to the scammers website. I collected info such as the address, email and phone number. I sent an email to the one provided on site and made a phone call to the number listed.

Upon calling, I noticed it rang about 3 times before an automated voice stated the person at the extension (imaginary) was not reachable. I called back 3 more times before getting voicemail, on which I started to leave a message but I decided against in the middle of recording it. I then called again and a man answered the phone. Once I told him why I was calling, he mumbled something and put me on hold with elevator music but the line was disconnected a few seconds later. I called back again only to get an automated voice. I hang up and called twice more time before the same man answered again. I addressed why I was calling once more.

The man then told me that the number I had dialed was for a health insurance company to which I asked "So why does your number appear on a site for Domain SEO Service Registration Corp?" He simply said it was someone trying to use the company as a front for a scheme. Not once buying his explanation, I simply hung up. I had gotten my confirmation. Thank God for making me smart enough not to fall for this pathetic scam. I will be reporting this to the Federal Trade Commission ASAP!
