Dominic Colbert, Sales and Margin, Sales and Margin Onnemedia LLC Scammed out of money, fraudulent business deals, dishonesty, poor ethics Washington DC

 Being introduced to Dominic Colbert has been one of the worse experiences in my life. I met Mr. Colbert through a mutual friend. When I first met Dominic I had somewhat of a good impression of him as he presented himself to be a person that is striving to help build ward 8's community and help people become entrepreneurs through his program called "Sales and Margin." As a business owner and community activist, I am always looking for ways to invest money while helping people. Like a fool, I thought Mr. Colbert would finally be the answer as I have been trying to network and find good, honest people that I would be able to build with and that share similar goals and aspirations as myself. So I decided to become involved with Mr. Colbert as a student of his program and see what he was about.

One day Mr. Colbert called me and said that he had some investment opportunities for me. He stated that he was having an entrepreneurship expo in the fall called EntreDC and wanted me to be an investor. After looking over his business plan several times and consulting with my wife, I decided that the business plan was shotty and filled with a bunch of "fluff" and that it would not be a good investment for me. The numbers were inflated and Mr. Colbert mentioned partnerships with the mayor and other people that he did not solidify (false misrepresentation). I explained to Mr. Colbert that I had dealt with bad investments in the past and could not be involved in any more unsuccessful schemes.

Mr. Colbert continued to beg for my support and called me in for a meeting with his assistant Tiffany and also the manager of the Hive 2.0 (his office is stationed at this place called the hive) named Jeff. He made many references to partnerships with GW law school, industrial bank, Samaritan Ministries of Greater Washington, The Hilltop Microfinance Initiative, Skyland Workforce Center, and many other entities. I told him that I needed proof of these relationships in order for me to move forward with being an investor which many he could not prove.

After listening to him over and over again and after speaking with the manager of the Hive 2.0 (Jeff), I decided to give him a try (against my wife's wishes). This has been the worse decision I have made. The scary part is that he presented himself as an angel of light who had strong community ties and that his purpose is to help raise the community and people who are impoverished. He told me that he had money coming in and that his government funding had been delayed and that he needed some Capitol until it arrived. He stated that he felt very confident and gave me a promise (and signed a contract with which I have a copy of his DC drivers license) that he would return my initial investment within 30 days. It took everything I had to believe in him and fork over a hefty $7,500.00. I believed in his cause and wanted to help in any way I could not knowing that I was walking into a scam.

It is well over 30 days and Mr. Colbert and I have fell from grace. He has lied to me on many different occasions and has yet to return 1 dollar. The sad part is that my Wife's father died from stage 4 cancer and as I explained to Mr. Colbert, the money that I gave him was for funeral expenses. My wife had to take out a large loan with a heavy interest rate to cover the cost due to Mr. Converts breach. As I write this report and prepare for legal action against Mr. Colbert I am warning everyone who has the opportunity to read this to RUN FROM DOMINIC COLBERT!!!! Do not involve yourself with his entrpenuership program nor any other lie that he pitches!! He can not be trusted and will bait you in to scam you!!
