Dominion Wrecker Service of Stafford Predatory Towing Stafford, Virginia
*Author of original report: Predatory tow
*Consumer Comment: Curious.
This predatory company towed my car then charged me and outrageous fee to retrieve it. If they think because I'm female and live out of state that I'll just fuss and forget it they are wrong. I have filed with the Better Business Bureau and Virginia State Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs. They already have a bad rep and I intend to make it worse for them.

My car was parked in a shopping center parking lot. While there were posted signs prohibiting overnight parking, they didn't specify any hours, i.e., after stores are closed and I wasn't there overnight. It came to my attention they saw my car (with out of state plate) earlier, came back that night, saw it still there and towed it. I learned in discussions with store employees that they have towed legally parked cars of overnight employees and refused to refund their money. My research into Virginia state law shows they've broken several parts of the law, and I have an incomplete receipt to assist in proving my case in an effort to get some if not all my money refunded. I also hope to see more signs posted that are larger and more visible that will end their predatory practice.
