Don Davis Arlington Used car rip off sold us a car that they will not repair. Do not purchase from Don Davis! ARLINGTON Texas

We bought a used 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. The day after we brought it home my wife complained to me that the Air conditioner was not working. So we called the dealership and told them that the A/C was not working. So we had to take a couple of hours off from work to drop it off and have them look at the car. The dearlship said oh threes nothing wrong with it... So unknowed to us at the time the compressor on the air conditioner was broke so what the dealership did was fill it up with Freon and of course it was blowing cold air.. the dealership scammed us. Once the Freon leaked out from the broken compressor the air stopped blowing cold... we called them again and told them that it was not working. So we called the dealership and told them it stopped working they said bring it in. So instead of bringing it in we took it to our local pep boys who told us in 25 min that the compressor was broke and it was leaking Freon from the compressor. So the next day I called and talked to the Don Davis general manager who told me that they would take care of it his name was Clark. Basically he was going to tell me anything to get me off the phone. After I spoke to Clark some one named Mark who said he was the used car manager told me to bring it in so we could fix it. I told him what Pep Boys told us and he said to bring it in. So we brought it in on Tuesday again missing time from work to drop off the car. Then someone named Terry Collins calls me and tells me that nothing is wrong with the A/C (again they filled up the Freon and of course it was blowing cold) and he wanted to fix it but nothings wrong. I told him that Pep Boys told me that it is broke and that I know it doesn't work and that if he filled it up with Freon it would blow cold even if it was broke as soon as I said that he got overly defensive and told me no we didn't do that.... I told him that Pep boys used as a blue dye to run the diagnostic test on the a/c and that his technician if he has the proper glasses can see it to. To see where the leake was. He said he would look in to it. So they kept the car overnight and the next day he tells me exactly what pep boys told me that the a/c was shoot. And that the used car sales man Mark was not going to have it fixed and that we were going to have to pay to have it fixed. So it took the Terry and his technicians 48 hours to tell us what pep boys told us in 25 min. They tried to scam us for the 2nd time then after I caught on to the trick they came clean and refused to fix it. I have struggled with 3 kid taking to daycare taking to school and all of this using one vehicle my wife works full time we have to share the one vehicle because Don Davis refuses to fix the car that was broken when they sold it to us.. the said it will only cost 1000 dollars to fix it and it will be ready in 3 days.. So even if we decided to get the work done we would still be out a car for 5 days not including the first time they scammed us when they filled up the Freon and said it works.


Please do yourself a huge favor and tell all your friends that are in the market for a car NEVER PURCHASE FORM DON DAVIS ARLINGTON. The managers will say anything to make you feel like they will fix there problems but ultimately they will scam you and you will end up paying for there scams in the end.
