Nigerian 419 Scam... Comes in many forms..... But always asks for your banking info.........

AUTHOR: Donna - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, December 03, 2005

I can't believe people actually fall for this but amazingly, they do. Somehow, these people across the sea came into your info and feel they can trust you with millions of dollars that they must get out of the country after their relative died or else the government will take it. Etc, etc etc... It's been named the Nigerian 419 Scam and I was reporting them to the FBI as I received them but I haven't received any emails in about 6 months. The advice is the same for this and all emails scams - No, you did NOT win any sweepstakes that you did not enter. No, someone you've never heard of did not find out about you from a trusted source and now they trust you to wire you millions of dollars. ETC! (oh, and the Taco Bell dog will not run across your screen if you send that email to 15 people...lol) A good place to read about many types of myths and scams is urban legends.
