Rude; ignorant; and outdated Psychiatrist who is to old to practice medicine. If you are looking for "Pain Management"; "Medication Management"; Suboxone; Vivitrol injections; or any other care than you are better off going across the street to see Dr. Carol Ludolph. Also, I would not trust Dr. Ganime with young adults or adolosecents...
If you read his reviews; there is not one good one out there and he has multiple practices.
Stay away from Dr. Ganime/Renew Family Services. They are bad news and will only make you or your loved one's condition WORSE. As long as you keep "relapsing" and coming back; they will love you.

If you google this guy; Renew Family Services does not even come up even though he is the "Medical Director;" "Psychiatrist;" and "Child Psychiatrist."
No one can get a hold of this Doctor if they or there loved suffers a relapse or another emergency unless they go through the only of Renew Family Services!!!!
I do not believe that he is legally an employee there; I believe that is a part-time/independent contractor.

I am meeting with both "Action News" and "Eyewitness News" this coming week for a possible "Investigative Report" on both this facility and this provider this week. I explained the situation; and, they seem very interested in doing a "package" about Dr. Peter Ganime & Renew Family Services.

I saw this Dr. Ganime at Renew Family Services. I put in a request (in writing) for my medical records; and, they never even responded!? I reported Dr. Ganime & Renew Family Services to both the PA Dept of Health & Office of Civil Rights.
Also; I reported him to the PA State Medical board as I believe that he no longer has the mental & physical "faculties" to practice Psychiatry. I requested the State Medial Board to do an "assessment" to determine whether or not he is still "fit" to practice medicine. I believe that he is too old to be "in practice"; and, it is a danger to the community.
If you look at his online reviews not one patient has a GOOD word to say about this MD.

I am thankful to now be working with a Psychiatrist who is "up to date" and can HEAR. I would not use Dr. Ganime or anyone who is associated with "Renew Family Services" or "Hope's Therapeutic Services."

Short-term residential detoxes are inappropriate for benzo withdrawal no matter what the staff or fancy brochures may say (in my opinion). Benzo withdrawal typically takes weeks and months and is best done at home with the proper information, support and comfort measures.
Dr. Ganime did not know this or did not care. All he cares about is HIS license and YOUR money!

You will have better results if you use Dr. Carol Ludolph across the parking lot in the 505 building. She is way more qualified and current...
