Dr Power Equipment in Vermont the company refused to refund the shipping fee of $579 when I did not pick up the mower Vermont
*Consumer Comment: Not sure
Dr Power Equipment in Vermont offered free delivery of brush mower to a local trucking company. I was on vacation and I didn’t pick up the mower within 2 weeks they elected to charge my credit card $579 for having their mower returned to them and they refused to credit my account the $579.

Your situation seems to be in a gray area. I'm not sure whether it is really a rip off or a consequence of miscommunication.
When you made a purchase online, what made you think that the item could be left at a local trucking company until you retrieve it from them? Did you have any corresponding with the local trucking company about your purchase? Did the Dr. Power Equipment have any communication with you and/or the local trucking company?
Your report is incomplete because it left out the information when and how you would retrieve your item. Also, why would you order something online and went on vacation for 2+ weeks? There must be some sort of arrangement or assumption if you have a plan on being away but ordered something that would be sent to you during the time period.
