DREAM HOMES - Fleetwood mobile home, CONSECO Ripoff-poor customer service after sells riped off conseco deceptive ripoff company AMERICUS Georgia

I purchased a Fleetwood mobile home from DREAM HOMES at the end of DEC,2000. Didn't actually move into it till the end of Jan,2001.I reported a problem of a half-assed covered septic tank and the owner of the company didn't want to re-cover the tank--he told me to throw dirty on top of it--I had to contact the local health dept to force him to comply.

On the eve of the new yr, we experience a electrical problem,have lights on one side of the home and none on the other.

Reported the problem to Fleetwood(warranty)they said it was in the cross-over where the 2 sides were joined -contact the dealer well, I did and as of today 01/05/03,I'm still experiencing the same problem. The owner of DREAM HOMES has sent someone for the past 2 days(01/02/-03)who apparently doesn't know his head from his foot.I informed the owner of DREAM HOMES that school would be starting back on 01/06/03 and we needed lights to bathe.

He informed me that we could do without lights on one side till then.Can you believe this man!!-haven't had lights since 12/31/02 on one side of the home. I reported the incident to FLEETWOOD but they are closed on the weekend.We have been using flashlights, bathing in the dark,and running ext.cords across the hallways.

I'M really liked pissed off with this idiot and I want conseco to be aware of the fact that they have also being RIPPED _OFF by this company. I put $1000.00 down payment on this bucket- well the day the dealer gave me the keys to the home,I was told as he left that IF ANYONE FROM CONSECO SHOULD CALL INQUIRING ABOUT HOW MUCH I PUT DOWN---TELL THEM I PUT DOWN $4000.00.

Well, one of your rep did call me about a missed payment(changed employment)and he asked me how much did I put down--I pretended I couldn't remember the exact amount and I laughed about the amount he said was on the application they(DREAM HOMES) sent in to get it financed. So, conseco you have been had by them and probably still is.

In the future,I would suggest that your company go over their applications with a fine -tooth comb. How many of his homes have you financed?? Hope we don't have a mysterious fire one night-if you know what I mean!!!! I HAVE FILED A COMPLIANT WITH THE BBB against this company on 01/04/03.
