On August 9, 2012 I went to see what Drive Auto Group was all about. It happened when I got there that the woman who I was dealing with is a client of mine at work.  My boyfriend who has been in the automotive business asked all the right questions and Kristine had all the right answers. In the end she assured us this would help my credit and I would never have to pay for a repair because it was under a two year warranty.

On August 14,2012 I called to speak to Kristine, a man named Dennis Perez was apparently now dealing with my car issues. I asked Dennis what the price of the car was and asked for my weekly payments. He told me $80.00 a week. Later that day when I went down there Dennis took his time dealing with me.

On August 13, 2012 after I had written a check on August 9,2012 for a deposit of 100.00. My mother called and charged 300.00 towards my 1,000.00 down payment. I had 500.00 cash and then again my mother had to make another payment of 200.00 to Dennis on August 14,2012 because he would not generate any paper work until he had the down payment.  Kristine and I had made a different deal but she wasn't there.

At 5:00 pm Dennis finally started doing my paperwork.  He then slams me with another 825.00 for sales tax and registration. To either be  paid right there or added on to my weekly payments of 40.00 a week until paid off. That made my weekly payments 120.00 and I still had insurance and all my other life expenses. He tells my boyfriend he will put me in a loaner car until my car had been inspected and serviced. He told my boyfriend he could leave me there.

At 5:15 Dennis looks at his watch and says I this deal cannot be "spun" The bank is closed. Your boyfriend needs to come back and get you I cannot put you in a loaner car. So Dennis now has my 1,000.00 and I have no loaner car.  No bank deal was ever done. The next morning after lots of number figuring and reality I realized I could not afford this car. I called Drive at 8:45 am and said please don't spin the loan through the bank, thank you for your help and we will be down to pick up the down payment.

Dennis told us that wasn't possible. So I had to take a day off of work to go down there sign a request for refund paper and was told sorry we are keeping your deposit and down payment. So no bank deal ever happened, and I am out 1,000.00. I cannot get to work or get another car until we get that money back from Drive Auto Group. I do know that Drive and Flow Auto Financing LLC are owned by the same person.

After numerous calls to Flow Auto Financing and the owner's son Chris putting us to false extensions, My mother was told to call a certain woman but when she did they wouldn't put her through. When my other asked for the owner's name Chris his son told her his name and spelt it wrong. She asked for the owner's phone number Chris told her 911.  I spoke to Chris and after my boyfriend got through to a woman named Joan she told me to fax her the same report Chris had in his hand and that was the Refund Request Form. Chris intercepted that one as well refused to give it to her and continued to put me through to a false extension. He also told me your mama when I demanded to speak to her.

They are scam artists and crooks and I need to get my money back so I can deal with a dealership who will help me get into a car and not keep my down payment. I cannot afford to lose my job because these people are crooks.

Contact  (860) 293-2500 which is the dealer board in CT.....they can probably give you some advice and maybe even talk to the dealer directly.  Good luck!
