I call United Airlines . They said go to my back and file a dispute .And I did and done no good. I've file with the state attorney General. And the FTC. I feel this Internet fraud!

Case of the exchange rate blues

AUTHOR: Michael - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 02, 2008

Sorry that happened to you. Since you purchased it from EDREAMS, you were charged in Euros and based on the exchange rate, they withdrew the correct amount in USD.

When buying from non US sites like EDREAMS.com make sure you are aware of the currency you are being charged. EDREAMS states up-front that all of their prices are in Euros. They make the transaction Euros and your bank uses the current exchange rate.

This is why you lost the dispute with your bank, you receipt and EDREAMS records show you were charged the correct amount.
