Hi

I found the easyjet experience to be not worth the money saved which in any event was around $100

The check in for EasyJet at Ben Gurion airport takes place in terminal 1 and lasted around 2 hours and 30 minutes all of which were spent standing up and queuing. There are no restaurants or duty free in this terminal so I was unable to shop and eat.

Following the lengthy check in I then had to take a bus from Terminal 1 terminal 3 and then had approximately 15 minutes to eat and go to duty free. Baring in mind that there is no free food or drink on the plane itself this was a highly frantic and unnecessarily stressful 15 minutes.

The cost of the flight before I chose my seat and added hand luggage was 330 euros but then these expenses brought me to 400 euros. To pay 400 euros to que and not get any food or drink on the plane is unacceptable.

Another issue I encountered is that I added a suitcase to my weight allowance but did not receive confirmation that I now had an extra baggage allowance. So I was unsure until the day of the flight as to whether I did or not due to lack of confirmation details.

The flight both there and back were both very cramped and as I had reserved a seat at the front I had to sit for 30 minutes prior to the flight with the door open in front of me and a strong wind coming in as the plane was not connected to the terminal. This is not the end of the world but baring in mind that I was cramped. Hungry, thirsty and tired from the check in it did not go down to well.

I have to say that both flights left on time and arrived on time which was a welcome change to Elal. Also the bus from Luton airport is right outside the doors of the airport which was very convenient. The desk at Luton airport had no que and also there is a wide range of restaurants and duty free there, which makes the check in experience a lot more manageable.

I see that in March, round trips from Tel Aviv to London are 222 pounds return (before all the other expenses). I am slightly baffled as to why flights from London to Moscow and areas of Greece and Croatia have prices of 75 pounds return which is 1/3 of the Tel Aviv to London price.

The survey to report my dissatisfaction of the airlines service was too long. It analyzed every aspect of the flight and I had to logoff after 30 minutes of answering questions when all I wanted to do was submit a complaint.

I look forward to your response and so do the dozens of other people on my flight who all expressed dissatisfaction.

If you would like to deal with the facts that

1) Easyjet to Ben Gurion is 3 times the price of EasyJet to Moscow

2) Easyjet is 2 and 1/2 checkin and please bare in mind that I had already got my boarding pass 1 month before and had a pass that is called "speedy boarding"

3) That the checkin takes place at a terminal that has no duty free or restaurants

Since writing this original post it has transpired that EasyJet costs more than British airways for this service. In any event, if you want to have your period on my rebbutal wall I suggest you maybe finish secondary school or maybe elementary prior to expelling your pathetic response.

 The airline has NO CONTROL over the services or lack of services that the AIRPORT has. To blame them because you couldnt shop is rediculous. From your own post you state they took off and arrived on time. So the AIRLINE did what they were supposed to do. Your complaint against the AIRLINE is invalide. Your complaint needs to be leveled at the company that runs the AIRPORT. Im sure that if those two brain cells every collided with each other you would have figured this out for yourself. They no longer give FREE drinks. It costs too much money and you consumers are too cheap to purchase anything for yourself.

Your report against the AIRLINE is false and faked. You need to address this issue. You are blaming a INNOCENT party in this because the AIRPORT did not allow you to have a snack or to shop. Prices will vary due to amounts of fuel consumed.

I swear you sheep get dumber by the day....
